I BOUGHT A CAR ON AUG O8,2003. IT BROKE DOWN AN HOUR LATER ON THE HIGHWAY. I TOOK IT TO TINKS AND THE MECHANIC RUSS TOLD ME THAT THE WERE 20-30 WIRES THAT NEED TO BE REPLACE AND THAT THE CAR WAS NO GOOD. I WANTED MY MONEY BACK AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX THE CAR THE WARRANY IS FOR 30 DAYS.THEY FIXED THE CAR AND I GOT IT BACK ON AUG 14,2003. IT STALLED 4 TIMES AFTER I PICKED IT UP. THEY ALSO GAVE ME 4 KEYS THAT WOULD NOT OPEN THE CAR SO I WAS LOCKED OUT. THEY HAD TO BREAK INTO THE CAR BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE KEY. I HAD TO GO PHILLIPSBURG TO GET AN ID I HAD LOST. I WAS DRIVING IN THE THIRD LANE WHEN THE CAR JERKED AND STARTED SMOKING. THATS WHEN WE NOTICE THE CAR WAS ON FIRE.I GOT OVER TO THE SHOULDER WE GOT OUT. THE CAR WAS ON FIRE I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT MY KIDS,MYSELF, AND THIER FATHER WERE IN DANGER.WE I CALLED THE DEALER AND I TOLD ANTHONY WHAT HAPPEN ,HE HAD NO REMORS HE SAID I HOPE YOU HAD INSURANCE. NOT ASKING IF WE WERE OK. CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE HOW CAN HE CELL A CAR THAT CATCHES ON FIRE. THAT WAS A SCARY SITUATION AND I NEVER WANTED MY KIDS TO HAVE TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF IT WAS YOU. HELP ME PLEASE . *AK
A REAR END IMPACT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE, TRAVELING ABOUT 50 MPH CAUSED THE REAR END TO CATCH ON FIRE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
CONSUMERS DAUGHTER WAS STOPPED AT A TRAFFICE LIGHT, WHEN SHE WAS HIT HEAD ON BY ANOTHER VEHICLE, BOTH THE DRIVER AND THE PASSENGER WERE WEARING SEAT BELTS, HOWEVER THE SEAT BELTS FAILED TO RESTRAIN THEM AND BOTH DRIVER AND THE PASSENGER WERE THROWN FOWARD, ALSO THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY, THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SUFFERED INJURIES.*MJ
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE, BUT DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY FULLY. AS A RESULT, DRIVER HIT STEERING WHEEL AND DASHBOARD. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS.*AK

CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE THE VEHICLE ROLLED SEVEN TIMES, THE AIR BAGS EXPERIENCED NO DEPLOYMENT, CONSUMER WAS INJURED IN ACCIDENT. *SLC
WITH 3 TO 4 CAR LENGTHS IN OPTIMAL DRY DAYLIGHT WEATHER CONDITIONS THE CAR FAILED TO STOP AT A CRUISING SPEED OF 35MPH, THE CONDITION OF THE BRAKE ROTORS AND PADS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. *AK
VEHICLE HAS EXPERIENCED SAME PROBLEM AS MENTIONED IN RECALL 95E006002/ MANUFACTURER'S RECALL# 7243. PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY PROPERLY. AIRBAG BLEW UP, CAUSING DASHBOARD TO CRACK/ WINDSHIELD/ SUNVISOR AND PASSENGER'S SIDE WINDOW TO BREAK. SUNVISOR FLEW TO REAR OF VEHICLE, AND CAUSED MINOR INJURIES TO A CHILD. CONSUMER REARENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE AT 10 MPH, CAUSING AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. DURING DEPLOYMENT, VEHICLE HAD BLACK SMOKE.*AK
DRIVERS SIDE AIRBAG IS LOOSE AND CONSUMER CAN STICK HAND BEHIND AIRBAG. CONSUMER IS SCARED AIRBAG MAY DEPLOY AND INJURE SOMEONE. TWO WEEKS LATER WHILE DRIVING AT 50 ANOTHER DRIVER HIT CONSUMER'S VEHICLE FROM THE FRONT AND AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY.*AK
DRIVER WAS AT TRAFFIC TIE U WHEN A VEHICLE STRUCK THE DRIVER FROM BEHIND, THE TRUCK WAS MOVING AT A HIGHT RATE OF SPEED, PUSHED THE DRIVER INTO A VAN THAT WAS STOPPED IN FRONT AND INTO THE CENTER CEMENT DIVIDE. DRIVER'S SIDE SEATBACK FELL INTO A SEMI-RECLINE POSITION AND THE SEAT SLID BACK, AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY, THE SEAT FALLING BACK CAUSED THE DRIVER'S LUMBAR SPINE TO BE INJURED.
CONSUMER WAS REARENDED WHICH CAUSED THE DRIVER'S SEAT TO RELEASE TO THE RECLINING POSITION, CAUSING LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL. ALSO, THE HEAD REST COMPLETELY BROKE AWAY FROM THE SEAT. *AK
TOOK OFF FROM INTERSECTION AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE AT HIGH SPEED PULLING TO THE RIGHT. THE VEHICLE WENT OFF ROAD. PULLING HARD CONSUMER MANAGED TO GO TO LEFT, THEN STILL AT HIGH ACCELERATION SPEED. VEHICLE PULLED BACK TO THE RIGHT, TIPPING OVER ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE, AND VEHICLE HAD COMPLETELY TURNED AROUND, FACING THE OTHER DIRECTION. CONSUMER HAD TO BE CUT OUT OF VEHICLE AND TREATED AT LOCAL HOSPITAL. *AK
AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT WAS VIOLENT, CAUSING BURNS TO LEFT ARM/RIGHT HAND, AND ALSO ON LEFT SIDE OF STOMACH WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SMALL CYST. DUP OF 516955, ADDED ON 25-FEB-98. *AK
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN A VERY LOW SPEED COLLISION AND THE PASSENGER'S AND DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED, CAUSING SERIOUS INJURIES TO THE OCCUPANT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, NO DAMAGE TO THE FRONT END, ALL DAMAGE WAS FROM THE DEPLOYMENT OF THE AIR BAGS. *AK
VEHICLE HIT A LAMP POLE AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE AND AIR BAG DEPLOYED, BUT WHEN IT DEPLOYED IT DIDN'T DEPLOY FULLY. AIR BAG CAME OUT HALF WAY. BUT THE PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED BUT ALSO CRACKED THE WINDSHIELD AND DASHBOARD. *AK
AIR BAG DEPLOYED BUT DRIVER RECEIVED INJURIES FROM DEPLOYMENT DUE TO IGNITOR, THE INJURIES WERE BURN RELATED. THERE IS NO INSTRUCTIONS IN OWNER'S MANUAL TO POSITION HANDS.PLEASE DESCRIBE DETAILS. *AK
