MY BOYFRIEND WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT. WE ARE BOTH ON THE CAR, AND THE AIRBAGS DIDNT GO OFF
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2014 CHEVY CRUZE. ON THE WAY TO WORK FOUR DAYS AFTER PURCHASING IT, I WAS SIDE SWIPED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AT 55 MPH. MY VEHICLE WAS PUT INTO A SPIN, I HIT A CURB AND SNAPPED THE PASSENGER SIDE SUB FRAME, SPUN OUT, AND MY VEHICLE WENT UP INTO FLAMES. IT WAS ENGULFED WITHIN 20 SECONDS OF THE ACCIDENT. I HAD TO KICK THE DRIVER DOOR OUR BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T OPEN. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET OUT OF THE CAR BEFORE BEING BURNED. THERE WERE NO DEATHS, I WAS THE ONLY OCCUPANT OF THE VEHICLE AND I WAS ABLE TO EXIT THE VEHICLE WITH A MODERATE CONCUSSION, AND MULTIPLE BRUISES. HAD THERE BEEN ANYONE ELSE IN THE CAR, THE OUTCOME WOULD'VE BEEN DIFFERENT. THE VEHICLE HAD 200 MILES ON IT AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. I DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING A CHEVY, THEY ARE NOT SAFE VEHICLES. Front end of vehicle collided with a deer. As a result of the crash, the car caught fire destroying the entire front of the vehicle. I came across an article that somewhat describes the details of my incident. However I was told there was no correlation with the recall from GM below from 2011/2012. ATTACHMENT WELDS FOR THE FUEL TANK STRAP SECONDARY BRACKETS MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED Hide details Recall consequence THE FUEL TANK COULD COME LOOSE IN A CRASH, POSSIBLY ALLOWING FUEL TO LEAK FROM THE TANK. A FUEL LEAK IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE. Recall action GM WILL NOTIFY OWNERS, AND DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE VEHICLE FOR MISSING WELDS. DRIVING DOWN A ROAD ON THE FRIDAY MORNING. WHEN A DEER POPPED UP IN FRONT OF ME. I HIT THE DEER ON CRUISE CONTROL GOING 70 MPH; BUT WAS HARD BRAKING TO AVOID THE DEER. THE VEHICLE CLIPPED THE DEER ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR BY THE HOOD. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, MEANING IT WASN'T EVEN A BIG IMPACT. SO I PULLED OVER TO CALL AUTHORITIES WHEN THE CAR BEGAN TO SMOKE. SHORTLY AFTER, ESTIMATED TWO MINUTES, THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE. THE FIRE BEGIN ON THE FRONT LEFT SIDE OF WHERE THE BATTERY WAS LOCATED. IT COMPLETELY BURNED DOWN THE CAR. NOT SURE HOW HITTING A DEER, WOULD NOT SET OFF THE AIR BAGS AND ALSO START A FIRE. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT WITH NO INJURIES.
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The contact stated that while driving approximately 46 MPH, a Chevrolet Impala rear-ended the vehicle, causing the vehicle to flip over and slide into the woods. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was unable to exit the vehicle at first but was later able to exit through the rear window. The driver was able to walk out of the woods to the highway to obtain assistance. Upon research, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V372000 (Air Bags). The air bag warning light was turning on and off days prior to the failure. There was an abnormal odor coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that several air bags deployed, trapping the contact in the vehicle. The contact sustained an extremely deep gash on her leg from the air bag. Medical attention was provided at the hospital. There was no reported fire. A Police report was filed but was not provided to the contact. The vehicle was towed to an unknown location. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The failure mileage was not available.

Loss of steering cause to side collision into bridge at 70mph no air bags deployed and no seat belts locked cause bodily injuries
I was involved in an accident at 70mph and the airbags did not deploy and the seat belts did not catch as a result I had to several injuries and luckily my 3 year old daughters car seat protected her
I was in a collision and zero airbags deployed. I was hit T-bone style at an intersection.

THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE CONTACT HAD BRUISES ON HER CHEST, WAIST, AND LEG FROM THE SEAT BELT. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE CUTS ON HER HAND. THE CONTACT WAS TAKEN BY AMBULANCE FOR THE INJURIES. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED AS OF YET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 101,000.

THE CONTACT LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE HEAD, FRACTURED RIBS ON THE LEFT SIDE, AND INJURIES TO THE LEFT LEG AND ARM. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS REQUIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A RECOVERY COMPANY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000.
STABILITRAK VENDOR KEEPS COMING ON. WHEN I'M DRIVING AND MAKE A TURN, MY CAR SEEMS AS IF IT'S GLIDING. MY BREAKS SKIP, ESPECIALLY WHEN HITTING A BUMP AND THEY ACT AS IF THEY DON'T WANT TO STOP. MY CAR CUTS ON AND OFF IN TRAFFIC, I'VE ALMOST DIED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE TURNNING. COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF, STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP AND ALL. MY CAR IS NOW WRECKED DUE TO THESE DEFECTS. IT WAS RAINING, I WAS TURNING, CAR GOT TO GLIDING AND SLIDING, BREAKS WENT OUT AND MY CAR LOST CONTROL! I ALMOST FLIPPED! I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR! PICTURES IN MY PHONE

I GOT IN A MAJOR ACCIDENT AND END UP HAVING BROKEN BONES IN MY FACE AND NECK AND BACK PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF MY AIR BAGS NOT COMING OUT. I WAS ON A CITY STREET IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA DOWNTOWN. THIS HAS CAUSE I MAJOR BURDEN ON ME BECAUSE NOT BEING ABLE TO WORK AND GOING BACK AND FOURTH TO DIFFERENT DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS.
TAKATA RECALL FOR AIRBAGS ON A 2014 CHEVY CRUZE. AIR BAG FAILED TO FINISH DEPLOYMENT AFTER BEING TRIGGERED. I PASSED OUT FROM SHOCK DIRECTLY AFTER IMPACT AND WOKE UP HUNG OVER MY SEAT BELT WITH THE STEERING WHEEL SMOKING AND SPITTING SOOT ALL OVER THE DASH. THERE WAS ALSO A SIGN THAT DISPLAYED ON THE SPEEDOMETER RECOMMENDING AN AIRBAG SERVICE. AFTER POLICE ARRIVED, IT WAS OBVIOUS TO THEM THAT THE AIRBAG HAD MADE AN ATTEMPT TO DEPLOY BUT FAILED TO EVEN POP OUT OF THE STEERING WHEEL.
I WAS INVOLVED IN A REAR-END COLLISION PUSHING ME INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE ON 06-06-18. THE HEADLINER AND DRIVERS SEAT BEGAN TO SMOKE, FILLING THE CAR. THE SMOKE WAS WHITE, GREY, AND SMELLED OF SULPHUR. IN ADDITION, THE "SERVICE AIRBAG" LIGHT APPEARED ON THE INFORMATION DISPLAY, THE FLASHERS/HAZARDS, CAME ON AUTOMATICALLY, AND THE CAR WOULD NOT START AND HAD TO BE TOWED. THE VEHICLE WAS SLOWING, ALMOST TO A STOP BEFORE BEING HIT. OHIO HIGHWAY PATROL ACCIDENT # 67-0834-67 5 VEHICLES INVOLVED. UNABLE TO UPLOAD.
MY WIFE HAD COME BACK FROM A DR. APPT. APPROX. 52 MILES AWAY FROM HER PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT ON MONDAY 5/15/17 AT APPROX. 1:15PM. AS SHE APPROACHED HER EMPLOYMENT, SHE MADE A LEFT TURN ON A SIDE STREET THAT SEPARATES TWO AUTO DEALERSHIPS, WHERE EMPLOYEES PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET. SHE NOTICED AN EMPTY PARKING SPOT ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE STREET AND DECIDED TO MAKE A U-TURN TO PARK THERE. AS SHE SLOWED DOWN TO ATTEMPT THE U-TURN, SHE MADE A SLIGHT LEFT TO BEGIN THE U-TURN AND AT THAT MOMENT ALL THE VEHICLE'S WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH LIT UP, THE MESSAGE CENTER SCREEN LOCATED AT THE CENTER OF THE CLUSTER ON THE DASH READ "STABILINK SYSTEM DISABLED" AND HAD LOST ALL POWER STEERING. UPON LOSING STEERING, THE STEERING WHEEL SNAPPED BACK AND BROKE HER WRIST IN TWO PLACES. THE LOSS OF STEERING RESULTED IN OUR VEHICLE SLIGHTLY IMPACTING THE VEHICLE PARKED TO HER IMMEDIATE RIGHT. I (HER HUSBAND) ARRIVED LITERALLY MINUTES AFTER THE LOSS OCCURRED, TRIAGED HER ARM AND NEEDED TO MOVE THE VEHICLE OUT OF THE STREET. UPON ENTERING THE VEHICLE, IT WAS STILL RUNNING AND HAD NOTICED ALL THE DASH AND VEHICLE WARNING LIGHTS ON, INCLUDING THE "STABILINK DISABLED" MESSAGE ON THE DASH. AS I BEGAN TO DRIVE IT APPROX. 20 YARDS TO AN EMPTY PARKING SPACE, THE VEHICLE HAD NO POWER STEERING YET IT WAS RUNNING. APPROX. 9 HOURS LATER, I HAD GONE BACK TO THE VEHICLE TO ATTEMPT TO DRIVE IT TO A LOCAL BODY SHOP TO STORE IT AND UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, ALL SYSTEMS WERE RUNNING AGAIN, NO WARNING LIGHTS WERE PRESENT ON THE DASH AND THE POWER STEERING HAD BEEN RESTORED. I ATTEMPTED TO FIND ANY INDICATION OF A PROBLEM THRU THE MESSAGE CENTER WITHOUT SUCCESS. I FILED AN INSURANCE CLAIM ON APPROX. 5/19, HAD THE VEHICLE PRESERVED FOR EVIDENCE AND IS NOW CURRENTLY STORED AND NOT MOVED AT THE BODY SHOP. AS OF 6/15, INJURY SCIENCES LLC IS SCHEDULED TO PLUG INTO THE ECU OR DATA EVENT RECORDER.
