THE FAILURE RECURRED ON ONE OTHER OCCASION WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH AND THE STEERING WHEEL DROPPED DOWN AND SEIZED. THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOT AND NOT REPAIRED. THE CAR WAS WRECKED REALLY BAD. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY RECALL FOR CHRYSLER FOR THE DODGE MAGNUM 2006 SINCE I HAD IT FOR 6 YRS+EXITED THE FREEWAY, AND MADE TURN TO HEAD TOWARDS MY DESIGNATED LOCATION. AS SOON AS I CROSS OVER THE FIRST LIGHT ( GOING THE SPEED LIMIT) MY VEHICLE LOST CONTROL AND ACCELERATED MORE SPEED WITHOUT ME ABLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING WHEEL CAUSING THE CAR TO JERK ALL OVER THE STREET. CONTINENTAL CONTISEALS ON MY DODGE MAGNUM 2006 R/T. THE TIRES WORE DOWN 50,000 MILES BEFORE WARRANTY, CUPP EASILY, VIBRATE THE ENTIRE CAR, DON'T SEAL PROPERLY, AND DODGE HAS CHANGED THE TIRE QUICKLY AFTER SEEING THE DRAMATICALLY HORRIBLE RESULTS OF THESE TIRES ON MY CAR. Air bag light was flashing and contact Dodge multiple times to inquire and fix recall however all I was offered was a gift card but no sort of transaction while vehicle was being fixed and was told I would receive follow up to make arrangements to get everything fixed however never had received any follow up and finally like I had told and showed the dealer probably the bag was going to deploy luckily I was the only person in the vehicle the passenger side airbag deployed and caused me to go off road into rail totaling vehicle it was no injuries or damages to any other property however vehicle was total loss and had a car person pick it up so I wouldn’t occur any cost leaving vehicle abandoned or in a storage facility when I contacted recall customer care for dodge and told them what happened now their excuse is a investigation however before this incident they have had ample time and many opportunities to check the vehicle just to be pushed off with a bunch of excuses to not provide ample conversation for inconvenience and the losses accrued due to their Faulty unsafe vehicle that could have cost someone life due to donor drive recall
NORMAL FILL UP AT COSTCO 91 OCTANE - STARTED TO DRIVE AWAY THE MAGNUM SRT8 STALLED AND THE VEHICLE BEHIND ME LEAVING THE PARKING LOT HIT ME. COULD NOT GET IT TO RUN CORRECTLY FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES. MY WIFE AND BABY IN THE CAR VERY WORRIED.
THE FRONT END HAD TO BE WELDED BACK TOGETHER AND THE IT IS PRETTY MESSED UP. AND FRONT WHEELS BAR MIGHT COME A LOOSE WHEN TURNING IS MADE HARD. YOU CAN SEE WHERE IT WAS FIX AT ON THE BOTTOM IN THE FRONT THE FRAME WAS WRECK PRETTY HARD. *TR

THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE FROM THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO DECELERATE WHEN THE VEHICLE MAKE A LOUD GRINDING NOISE AND SHAKE EXCESSIVELY. THE FAILURE WAS SIMILAR TO RECALL 06V149000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC). THE BRAKE SYSTEM DID NOT HELP TO IDLE THE VEHICLE. A PRIVATE MECHANIC REPLACED THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKE PADS AND HE NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A BRAKE HOSE LEAK AND PERFORMED THE REPAIRS; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 97,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.

I BROUGHT A 2006 DODGE MAGNUM IN MARCH OF 2007 WITH 19,230 MILES. THE ENGINE IS NOW AT 50,000 MILES AND THE ENGINE IS NO GOOD. THE DODGE COMPANY CAN'T TELL EVEN TELL ME THE PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 DODGE MAGNUM. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE OVERHEATED. THE CONTACT DROVE ONTO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND AFTER THIRTY MINUTES ADDED WATER TO THE RADIATOR RESERVOIR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SEVERAL AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIPS BUT THE DEALERS COULD NOT FIND THE DUPLICATE OR DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT ALSO SMELLED SMOKE IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SOMEONE ELSE DROVE THE VEHICLE AND OBSERVED THAT THE TEMPERATURE AND OIL LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL PRIOR TO THE ENGINE SHUTTING OFF. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE OIL PUMP FAILED. THE DEALER WAS ALSO INSPECTING TO SEE IF THE WATER OUTLET VALVE WAS DEFECTIVE AT WHEN THE COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 90,359.
WHILE I WAS ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE CONTENTS FROM THE TRUNK OF MY VEHICLE, THE TRUNK RELEASED ITSELF WITHOUT PRESSURE OR FORCE AND HIT ME IN THE HEAD. I WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND TREATED FOR CONTUSIONS TO THE HEAD. I SUSTAINED BLEEDING AND BRUISING TO THE HEAD. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 105,000. *TR
vehicle engine codes were all corrected properly in hopes of fixing the stalling issues. the vehicle was seemingly better for a few days. upon driving the vehicle on the highway at normal highway speed, the vehicle suddenly began flickering and shutting off and on. the vehicle would shut off and on rapidly. each time the vehicle turned back on it would accelerate causing the vehicle to jolt forward and stop rapidly. the car would not allow me to brake safely. the vehicle behind was within inches of a collision but their quick response to slam on their brakes and swerved to the shoulder thankfully missed. this is not an isolated event. speaking to other hemi 5.7 vehicle owners this is a very common issue. I had a baby in a carseat in the backseat who was jolted around slamming the back of his head into his car seat. this is so dangerously unsafe. not dealership can find the problem even after replacing every part possible on these vehicles.
