VEHICLE WAS HIT BY ANOTHER CAR ON THE FRONT. THE OTHER VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING AT ABOUT 50 TO 60MPH. DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED, AND DRIVER'S SWEAT PANTS CAUGHT ON FIRE. DRIVE RHAD TWO PAIRS OF SWEAT PANTS ON. FIRE BURNED A BIG HOLE THROUGH THE FIRST PAIR, AND SINGED THE SECOND PAIR OF PANTS. IF DRIVE RWOULD NOT HAVE HAD ON TWO PAIRS OF PANTS, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN BURNED. VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN LOOKED AT BY ANYONE. *AK

DT: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH THE AXLE BROKE, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO VEER OFF THE ROAD AND HIT A CHAIN LINK FENCE, THEN GO TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD AND JUMP A DITCH. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO TOW THE VEHICLE TO HIS HOUSE HIMSELF. THE AXLE SNAPPED OFF AT THE BEARING WHERE IT BOLTS TO THE HUB. THE WHEEL WAS NOT DAMAGED WHEN THIS HAPPENED. THE DEALERSHIP STATED IF HE HAD HIT SOMETHING THE WHEEL WOULD BE DAMAGED. THE CONTACT HAS NOT YET BEEN TO A PHYSICIAN, BUT WAS EXPERIENCING BACK PAIN. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT YET BEEN REPAIRED. *AK

OUTSIDE SEAT BACK BRACKET OF DRIVER SEAT FAILED IN REAR END COLLISION RESULTING IN DRIVER BEING MOVED INTO BACK SEAT. SEAT BACK BRACKET FAILED ABOVE THE RECLINER RATCHET ADJSUTER. TRUCK MOVING 5MPH, REARENDED BY VEHICLE APPROX AT 30MPH OR FASTER (EXCESSIVE SPEED, 283' SKID MARKS, DRY PAVEMENT, 96 HONDA ACCORD)
ROAD WAS WET & VEHICLE WAS GOING AROUND A CURB & VEERED OFF INTO A TELEPHONE POLE. ENTIRE FRONT END WAS CAVED INWARD. HAD SEAT BELTS ON. AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY, UPON IMPACT. DRIVER SUFFERED FACIAL INJURIES. MANUFACTURER INDICATED AIR BAGS WORKED OKAY. VEHICLE SENSORS WERE NOT TOUCHED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN VEHICLE SLID OFF THE ROAD INTO A UTILITY POLE, AND SPLIT POLE IN HALF, CONSUMER FELT THAT THE INJURIES SUSTAINED WERE CAUSED BY AIRBAGS NOT DEPLOYING. *AK
