The front tie rod adjusting sleeve pulled apart from the tie rod end. The threads were stripped off so where you can just pull it off and on. It caused me to drive almost into a tree where I lost complete control of the truck. I did not hit any potholes or bumps that would have caused any damage. There is NO WAY that these two parts should have came apart. This is a severe safety hazard. The tow truck driver said he saw the SAME THING the day before on another Ford truck so clearly this is becoming an issue. I only have 90,000 miles on my truck so there isn't a lot of wear and tear on it either. I have photos of the parts after the incident and I've taken it to my repair shop to get it fixed. He also said that this should have never have happened and its very strange that it did. I had no prior warning of it happening - no shaking, thumping, rattling... nothing to tell me that there was an issue.

Steering suspension has been failing over and over for months. Several severe incidents while driving 70+ mph down the road. Complete loss of control of the vehicle, uncontrollable death wobbles. One incident put me in a ditch, while the others were near collisions. First incident - was no longer able to drive above 30mph without sever death wobble. After “repairs”, recreated the issue at 75 mph and I’m unable to drive safely above 35 mph. Ford has confirmed many parts needing replacement but will not take ownership in replacing them. First incident -$5,300. Second incident - nearly $2500. There were no warning lamps, messages, or any notification of failure prior to incident. The entire front end of these vehicles need to be recalled. There is a class action lawsuit for a reason. I’m unable to sell my truck, or drive it do to costly RECURRING repairs. I’m fearful for my life in my Ford.

As well as rear camera failure I have the front camera failure. Which is worse cannot see out of the front camera really at all. Looks like a white screen. Safety for others as well as myself are at risk on a daily basis. You cannot see if there's small children or objects in front of your vehicle when you're leaving. Dealership has looked at it. This camera actually started to fail before the rear backup camera. This is a very serious problem and needs to be fixed by Ford immediately a recall needs issued it's a matter of time before someone is killed or a child is killed.

We have been afflicted by the notorious Ford "death wobble" on our F-350XL multiple times. Twice, Haldeman Ford on Rt.33 claims to have "fixed" it only for it to happen yet again. The 3rd time it occurred, my field crew was on the PA Turnpike when the steering wheel began shaking so violently it caused the driver to lose control and hit a cement median. Somehow no one was hurt and no other motorists were involved but someone could've easily been hurt or killed due to this defect. We then towed it back to Haldeman Ford for yet another warranty "repair". The third time we were flat-out accused of lying and that we had caused the damage ourselves. After going back-and-forth on the phone Haldeman, they flat-out refused to honor any warranty and would not help us unless we paid for everything out of pocket so we decided to retrieve our truck and begin the process of filing complaints and working with our lawyer and insurance company to see how this can be resolved without us spending thousands of dollars that we shouldn't have to due to a poorly manufactured and defective product. I've searched the issue online and there are thousands of motorists experiencing the same issue with their Ford so there is absolutely no reason they should be accusing us and pretending like the issue doesn't exist. As you will see from the uploaded documents the first instance of the defect occurred after only ~12k miles and the 3rd instance at ~27.5k. Please help us hold Ford accountable before someone ends injured or dead.

2019 F-350 WITH 8' BED AND APPROX 1000 MILES. 1ST OCCURRENCE: DEPARTED A CAMPGROUND TOWING A TRAVEL TRAILER (AFTER DOING 3 WALK-AROUND SAFETY CHECK PRIOR TO DEPARTING). DROVE 10 MILES TO NEAREST GAS STATION BEFORE GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY WHERE I DISCOVERED THE TAILGATE WAS DOWN AND CRUSHED BY THE TRAVEL TRAILER. THINKING BACK THROUGH MY SERIES OF EVENTS; I WAS ON LEVEL GROUND AND DID NOT REACH DOWN TO DISENGAGE THE PARKING BRAKE BELOW THE GATE RELEASE, I HAD A GROUND GUIDE BACK ME UP OUT OF MY SPOT WHO CONFIRMED GATE WAS STILL UP PRIOR TO DEPARTING, KEY WAS IN THE CUP HOLDER WITH NO OTHER OBJECTS. I REPORTED THIS ISSUE TO THE DEALER(4 SEPT 2019). THEY REVIEWED CURRENT RECALLS ON MY MODEL AND NONE WERE REPORTED. I FILED A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE AND ABSORBED THE REPAIR EXPENSES. IMPORTANT TO NOTE, THERE WAS A HEAVY THUNDERSTORM THE NIGHT PRIOR TO DEPARTING. 2ND OCCURRENCE: (WHILE AWAITING PARTS TO REPAIR DAMAGES FROM 1ST OCCURRENCE) I DEPARTED WORK AND JUST AFTER TURNING LEFT OUT OF THE PARKING SPOT STILL IN THE PARKING LOT, THE TAILGATE CAME OPEN UNINTENTIONALLY FOR THE SECOND TIME DURING MY 2 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP. I IMMEDIATELY NOTICED IT DOWN WHEN I LOOKED IN MY REARVIEW MIRROR AND NO DAMAGES FROM THIS OCCURRENCE.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

Fire

Failed component was the upper fuel filter/ fuel filter connecting lines located on top of the 6.7 power stroke engine broke and poured diesel all over the engine and into the valley causing the engine and engine bay to catch on fire while driving down the road. Safety was the fact that our entire truck burnt down and there was extreme risk of loss of life and ended up total loss of property. There have been multiple cases of power strokes from 2011-2026 equipped with the 6.7L power stroke diesel engine having this exact same problem due to the poor placement and inadequate materials to be used in high pressure fuel lines and filters. The vehicle was inspected by insurance and they did determine that was the cause of the fire. There were no warnings, we started smelling something and then smoke began coming through the vents. Pulled over and by then the engine bay was on fire and even the fire extinguisher could not put the diesel out and the entire truck was engulfed in flames in a matter of minutes. Ford needs to fix this issue with the placement of their upper fuel filters and should be held accountable to their customers who have suffered loss for this.

Fire

The contact owned a 2019 Ford F-350 hauling a small trailer with 2 horses. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 60 mph, another driver waved him down and informed him there was a fire from the front of the vehicle. The contact merged to the side of the road, parked, and exited immediately. The contact attempted to open the hood but was unsuccessful in doing so as the hood had become too hot to touch from the fire brewing inside. The contacts stated that he and his wife who was the front passenger occupant were able to unload their horses from the trailer just in time, as the entire truck engulfed in flames all within ten minutes. The origin of the fire was undetermined. No injuries were sustained. The location of the fire was the front of the vehicle. The fire department arrived to extinguish the fire. A fire department report was filed. A police department report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The remains of the vehicle were towed to a local towing company's lot. The local dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 19,000.

While driving a 2019 Ford F-350 dually with approximately 18000 miles. When a hole or unevenness in the road is encountered, on now multiple occasions, the steering wheel will jerk violently side to side until the vehicle speed is reduced or stopped in order to stop the shaking. When the brake is applied quickly, as a natural reaction to the shaking, the shaking seems to intensify which perhaps due to being the driver can be felt in both the steering wheel and brake pedal. The vehicle is available for inspection. This vehicle weighs in excess of 7000 pound. The need to reduce speed in the presence of traffic and loss of steering control could cause a serious accident. As stated the issue has now occurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle has not yet been looked at by a service center or any other entity but will be asap. Today is Sunday. The vehicle produces no lights or warnings prior to, during or following an occurrence. The prompt for writing this complaint is; My wife was in the vehicle on the most recent occurrence and now wants to get rid of the vehicle. Which in my opinion would only pass th concern along to someone else. I have owned more than one of the Super Duty Trucks and have been aware of what is termed “Death Wobble” for years. This 2019 vehicle is way more violent in its shaking causing tenderness in my left wrist and started occurring at way less mileage than in past Ford Super Duty trucks. Hopefully at some point, before more people and property are damaged, corrections will be made. Thank you for your time.

Multiple instances of the Death Wobble / Sustained Steering Wheel Oscillations while travelling in the Memphis, TN area. Have contacted the local Ford Service department and they plan to replace the Steering Link Damper. Suspect that this is only a short term band aide. Wife has history of Costochondritis, truck shook so violently it reinjured her during the last DW/SSWO event. Vehicle has less than 28,000 miles on it.

TRUCK'S STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AT APPROX 65 MPH PULLING A CAMPER. TRUCK WAS UNCONTROLLABLE! TRUCK CONTINUED TO 'DEATH WOBBLE' MULTIPLE TIMES. THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON ISSUE WITH FORD TRUCKS. IF YOU ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE STEERING WHEEL YOU WOULD WRECK!

My rearview camera is showing a distorted image and then goes blank while in reverse creating a safety issue while backing up. The camera is doing everything listed in the following recall campaigns: 20C19/22V252 20C19/24V188 20C19/20V575 but Ford says my truck does not qualify for the recall because my VIN is not listed in the recall.

I have about 54000 miles on a 2019 ford super duty 350 with the Power stroke 6.7. Engine light went on and its at Willowbrook ford in Illinois. Emission problem with Particular Sensor code 22e02. The cost of repair is between $816 plus another $1259 if it is cracked. This is absolutely ridiculous. After researching this is a big Ford problem. So they sold some trucks without them and have eliminated them on their 22 models. I think Ford should be responsible for the cost.
