ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE, VEHICLE COLLISION CAUSED FIRE. TT
WHILE DRIVING AT 35 MPH VEHICLE WAS IN AN OFF SET CRASH TO THE LEFT, AND THE FRONT SIDE. SEAT BELTS DID NOT RESTRAIN PROPERLY, AND AIR BAGS DEPLOYED 20 MINUTES LATE. DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
FUEL FLOW PROBLEM, LEAKED FUEL WHEN INVOLVED IN A CRASH, ALSO HAD A FIRE. *AK
DURING A FRONTAL CRASH THE PASSENGER SEAT BELT FAILD TO LOCK. PASSENGER WAS THROWN FORWARD IN FULLY EXTENDED SEATBELT. PASSENGER SUSTAINED FACIAL INJURIES FROM HITTING THE DASHBOARD. DRIVER ALSO INJURED. AIRBAG DEPLOYED ON DRIVER, AND DRIVER'S SEAT BELT WORKED PROPERLY.*AK
WHILE DRIVING, THE CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN AN HEAD ON COLLISION. UPON HITTING THE VEHICLE HEAD ON, THE VEHICLE ALSO, HIT A UTILITY POLE. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONSUMER WAS INJURED VERY BADLY. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION. PLEASE PROVIDE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. *JB
WHILE BRAKING THE BRAKES OF THE CONSUMER'S 1995 CHEVROLET S10 LOCKED UP AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO SLIDE INTO A STEEL POST. THE CONSUMER HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE VEHICLE. *NM THE CONSUMER SUSTAINED A CONCUSSION AS A RESULT OF THE ACCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO INFORMED THE CONSUMER THAT THE BRAKES WERE FUNCTIONING AS THEY SHOULD. *NM
(1)THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED FRONTAL IMPACT CRASH; 2)THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY,;AND THE OCCUPANT WAS INJURED. (3)NOTHING WAS DONE TO CORRECT THE FAILURE, THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED.*AK
I HAD BEEN NOTICING MY BRAKES FELT SOFT I CALLED THE DEALER, AND THEY SAID THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS, THEN LAST WEEK MY WIFE WAS DRIVING IT AND THE BRAKES FAILED AND SHE WAS IN A BAD WRECK AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *JB
THE HEADREST IN NON-ADJUSTABLE, AND CAME UP TO THE BACK OF MY NECK, WHICH WHEN I WAS REAR ENDED MY NECK HIT THE HEADREST AND I NOW HAVE NECK INJURIES WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN VOIDABLE IF THE HEADREST WAS NOT IN THE POSITION IT WAS. I HAVE A PICTURE OF ME SITTING IN THE TRUCK TO SHOW WHERE IT CAME TO MY NECK.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 25 MPH CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A DIRECT FRONTAL IMPACT, AND NEITHER DRIVER'S SIDE NOR PASSENGER'S SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED. VEHICLE WAS A TOTALED. *AK ONE PERSON WAS INJURED IN ACCIDENT. *SLC
CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END IMPACT WITH A TREE, AND DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. HER SON , THE DRIVER, SUFFERED A CONCUSSION/ BRUISED BRAIN, AND LIVER WAS TORN IN ADDITION TO MULTIPLE CUTS/BRUISES. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/ATTACHMENTS. *AK
WHILE SITTING IN PARK CONSUMER WAS REAR ENDED BY SOMEONE ELSE DOING ABOUT 40 MPH. VEHICLE HIT CONSUMER, AND KNOCKED HIM INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT WENT BACK SO HARD THAT IT CAUSED CONSUMER TO BREAK BACK WINDOW WITH HEAD. *AK
AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AFTER REAR END IMPACT FROM A 1 1/2 TON BOX TRUCK AND SUBSEQUENT IMPACT INTO ANOTHER PARKED VEHICLE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE IMPACTED VECHICLE, PROBABLY AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED FROM PARKED TO IMMEDIATE ACCELERATION. AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT INTO CAR DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF IMPACTED VEHICLE. ALTHOUGH SEAT BELTS WERE USED, IN A REAR END IMPACT, THE THRUST OF WEIGHT IS TO THE REAR WHICH MAKES SEAT BELTS FUNDAMENTALLY USELESS IN RESTRAINING BODY WEIGHT TOWARDS THE REAR. ADDITIONALLY, IMPACT WITH THE VEHICLE DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME RESULTED IN 200 POUNDS OF WEIGHT SUDDENTLY AND DRAMATICALLY BEING THRUST FOWARD WHICH DID NOT PREVENT INJURY TO MY HEAD, BACK, LEG AND ARM.
WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 35 MPH WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE COLLIDED HEAD FIRST, AND DRIVER'S AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK THE VEHICLE WAS EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED AND TOTALLED. *YH
WHEN TRUCK CRASHED INTO THE PASSENGER' S SIDE OF A 80 MODEL NISSAN SENTRA, TRUCK TRAVELING ABOUT 50 MPH, THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. TRUCK IS BEING REPAIRED. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
CONSUMER WAS DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, RAN INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. IMPACT WAS 2 INCHES AWAY FROM LICENSE PLATE. UPON IMPACT, DRIVER'S AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSING BROKEN RIBS/NOSE/COLLAPSED AND PUNCTURED LUNG. IN THE OTHER VEHICLE THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THE CRASH, THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. *AK *ML
WHILE VEHICLE WAS AT A COMPLETE STOP IT WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. CONSUMER'S VEHICLE WAS STUCK BETWEEN TWO VEHICLES, AND AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
WHEN TRUCK WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH TRAVELING AT 35 MPH, THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. VEHICLE TOTAL LOSS. *AK.ET.
VEHICLE EXPERIENCED REAR WHEEL LOCK UP WHILE APPLYING BRAKES AT 30 MPH. THIS CAUSED VEHICLE TO REAR END ANOTHER VEHICLE IN FRONT. DEALER/MANUFACTUREER WERE NOT CONTACTED AT THIS TIME. *AK
NO DEPLOYMENT OF DRIVERS AIR BAG DURING FRONT END COLLISION, RESULTING IN INJURY TO DRIVER (HEAD, NECK, BACK AND KNEE). *MJS
