WHILE DRIVING A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE WAS HEARD COMING FROM THE FRONT. VEHICLE ACCELERATED AND HIT A BRICK WALL. UPON IMPACT, BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER SUSTAINED HEAD AND BACK INJURIES, AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE TO A HOSPITAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. *AK
4 CAR COLLISION, CAR HIT FROM BEHIND PUSHING VEHICLE HARD INTO THE NEXT CAR IN FRONT, WHICH PUSHED THAT CAR INTO THE NEXT CAR. AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY. CAR TOTALED. RESULTED IN INJURY TO DRIVER. *JB
I PURCHASED A CAR ON 4-30-03 AND WAS HIT FROM BEHIND BY A HIT & SKIP DRIVER ON 5-1-03. POLICE CONSIDERS CAR A TOTAL LOSS. CAR DEALERSHIPS PAPERS SAYS THAT I HAVE 10 DAYS TO SHOW PROOF OF INSURANCE TO THEM. THE CAR DEALERSHIP ALSO SAYS THAT THEY DO/DID NOT COVER CAR FOR 10 DAY, AND I STILL AM FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CAR. I WAS NOT GIVEN CITATION CONCERNING THE ACCIDENT. THE HIT & SKIP DRIVER PUSHED MY CAR INTO ANOTHER CAR. IS THE DEALERSHIP LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE TO COVER THE CAR DURING THIS 10 DAY PERIOD? I AM WILLING TO WORK WITH THE DEALERSHIP BUT I DO NOT FEEL THAT I SHOULD BE TOTALLY FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE DUE TO ONLY OWNING THE CAR FOR 24 HOURS. *NLM

VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A "T" BONE HEAD ON COLLISION. UPON IMPACT, NEITHER AIR BAG DEPLOYED. *AK THERE WERE 2 INJURIES IN THE ACCIDENT. *SLC

I WAS DRIVING MY CAR WHEN I TOOK A RIGHT TURN THE CAR STARTED TO SHAKE. THEN THE STEERING WHEEL TOOK A VIOLENT TURN TO THE LEFT AND LOCKED CAUSING MY CAR TO BE THROWN INTO A CONCRETE ELECTRICAL POLE I RECEIVED SEVERAL INJURIES TO MY HEAD FACE AND SHOULDER NECK AND BACK MY CAR WAS AT A TOTAL LOSS I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED TO ME MY MECHANIC LOOKED AT THE CAR AND HE TOLD ME IT COULD NOT BE FIXED THEN I LATER FOUND THAT THERE HAD BEEN RECALLS ON THE PART THAT BROKE ON MY CAR I HAVE RESEARCHED THIS THROUGHLY ANDI CANT UNDERSTAND WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS AND COMPLAINTS ON THIS VECHILE WHY THEY ARE STILL ON THE ROAD AND THE MANUFACTURER WANTS TO TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT I WAS LUCKY TO NOT HAVE BEEN KILLED! BUT THE NEXT PERSON DRIVING THESE POORLY MADE CARS MIGHT NOT BE SO LUCKY. *AK
WHILE MAKING A RIGHT HAND TURN AT 20-25 MPH CONSUMER HEARD POPPING NOISE. STEERING STARTED TO SHAKE ,AND THEN SUDDENLY STEERING WHEEL TURNED TO LEFT ON ITS OWN , CAUSING VEHICLE TO RUN INTO A CONCRETE LIGHT POLE . VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES. *AK
MY DAUGHTER RAN INTO THE REAR OF ANOTHER VEHICLE AND TOTALLED A 1994 INTREPID. NEITHER AIR BAG NOR SEAT BELT RESTRAINT DEVICE WORKED. SHE IMPACTED THE STEERING WHEEL AND WAS INJURED.
THE OWNER WAS OPERAING HER 1994 DODGE INTREPID ON HIGHWAY 2 IN NORTHEAST MONTANA WHEN HER CAR SUDDENLY SVERWED VIOLENTLY TO THE LEFT AND CAUSED HER TO LOSE CONTROL OF HER VEHICLE, RESULTING IN AN ACCIDENT THAT THOROUGHLY DEMOLISHED HER CAR. *AK
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION, AND THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES. DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
VEHICLE WAS AT A STAND STILL AND ANOTHER VEHICLE REAR ENDED CONSUMER'S VEHICLE, CAUSING IT TO GO UP, FORWARD AND HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE HEAD-ON. UPON IMPACT, DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, WHICH DID NOT PROTECT THE OCCUPANT IN THIS CRASH. VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. *AK *ML
CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING DOWN THE STREET, IT WAS NOT RAINING WHEN A CAR TURNED IN FRONT OF CONSUMER, AND CONSUMER REARENDED VEHICLE IN FRONT. UPON IMPACT, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK
NO DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAGS DURING VEHICLE COLLISON RESULTING IN DRIVER AND PASSENGER INJURIES.
