WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 25 MPH VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION. IT REAR ENDED AN 18 WHEELER. UPON IMPACT, AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. DRIVER WAS KILLED, AND THE FRONT PASSENGER WAS BRAIN DEAD. *AK
THE CAR HIT A PATCH OF BLACK ICE AND CAR SLID INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE GOING 55 MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. DRIVER WAS WEARING A SEATBELT AT TIME OF ACCIDENT AND THE AIRBAG NEVER DEPLOYED. DRIVER HAD FACIAL INJURIES AND ELBOW WENT THROUGH WINDSHIELD. VERY FORTUNATE THAT WAS ALL. *TR
CONSUMER'S FIANCE' WAS INJURED WHEN VEHICLE WAS HIT ON DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. *PH *LA
WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH CONSUMER'S VEHICLE HIT THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. THIS CAUSED A FRONTAL COLLISION. UPON IMPACT, BOTH FRONTAL AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER SUSTAINED NECK AND BACK INJURIES. DRIVER WENT TO THE HOSPITAL THE NEXT DAY. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GEAR POSITION INDICATED (PRNDL) PROBLEM. WHILE VEHICLE IS PARKED, THE CONSUMER'S CHILD CAN MOVE THE GEAR SHIFT WITHOUT THE KEY BEING IN THE IGNITION. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE DRIVE WAY AND THE CONSUMER'S SON INADVERTENTLY WAS ABLE TO PUSH GEAR SHIFT IN TO NEUTRAL, THIS RESULTED IN A COLLISION OFF OF A ROCK RETAINING WALL. THE CHILD WAS SLIGHTLY SHAKEN UP INSIDE THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER AND THE DEALER ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.
THE CONSUMER WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE HIT THE DRIVER'S FRONT. NEITHER AIR BAG DEPLOYED UPON IMPACT. THERE WERE INJURIES TO DRIVER AND PASSENGER. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *NLM
THE CONSUMERS VEHICLE WAS REAR ENDED BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AT WHICH TIME THE DRIVERS SEAT COLLAPSED. AS A RESULT THE DRIVER WAS INJURED. *NLM
I WAS DRIVING DOWN HWY I75 SOUTH BOUND COMING HOME FROM WORK IN THE MIDDLE OF RUSH HR TRAFFIC. MY CAR WAS AT 70 MPH AND WAS DOING GREAT, THEN IT JUST STOPPED RUNNING WITH NO WARNING, DIDN'T GET HOT, NOTHING JUST DONE IN ONE MINUTE, MECHANICS SAID I NEEDED A COMPLETE REBUILD. CRANK - CAM - OIL PUMP SHOWED SCARS AND METAL FRAGMENTS. COSTS OF 3500 IN PARTS AND MACHINE TIME, 600 IN LABOR. WE COULDN'T GET OVER FAST ENOUGH TO GET OFF THE RD AND WAS ABLE TO STOP TRAFFIC AND THEN PUSH IT OFF TO THE SIDE, LATER WHEN PICKING UP THE CAR WITH A TOW DOLLY WAS HIT BY A CAR, SIDE SWIPING MY OTHER VEHICLE AND LEAVING ME AN ADDITIONAL 3000 IN REPAIRS. *TR
LEAVING A PARKING LOT SPACE, CAR SUDDENLY HAD TROUBLE TURNING, AND FELT AS THOUGH TIRE LOCKED UP AND I WAS UNABLE TO CONTROL STEERING PROPERLY RESULTED IN CRASH INTO A CEMENT LIGHT POST IN PARKING LOT. DAMAGES APPROX. $ 2,500 TO CAR. CAR BEING REPAIRED. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 DODGE INTREPID. WHILE DRIVING 25, THE CONTACT MADE A LEFT TURN IN AN ATTEMPT TO AVOID AN ONCOMING VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A UTILITY POLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE MAJORITY OF THE DAMAGE WAS ON THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CAN PROVIDE PICTURES AND A POLICE REPORT IF NEEDED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE 116,000. THE CONTACT DOES NOT HAVE THE VIN.
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK, WITHOUT THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION, THE CONTACT'S UNATTENDED GRANDCHILD SHIFTED THE COLUMN SHIFT AND THE VEHICLE ROLLED DOWNHILL AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED MODERATE DAMAGE TO THE REAR AND LEFT SIDE PANEL AREA. A POLICE REPORT WAS TAKEN. THE DEALER WAS ALERTED.
AN OIL PLUG FRONT LEFT OF ENGINE BLOCK BLEW OUT PUMPING OIL ONTO CATALYTIC CONVERTER. OPEN FLAMES MELTED WHEEL WELL, BACK BUMPER, AND FUEL HOSES OFF OF GAS TANK. FIRE WENT OUT WENT ALL THE OIL WAS PUMPED OUT OF ENGINE AND CAR STOPPED MOVING. I CONTACTED CHRYSLER SAFETY, THEY REFERRED ME TO DODGE CUSTOMER CARE; THEY INITIALLY CREATED A CASE #31892226 BUT THEN SENT A LETTER SAYING THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE BECAUSE THE CAR WAS OUT OF A THREE-YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD AND ALSO UNSPECIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS. ALTHOUGH MY WIFE AND SON WERE ALMOST IMMOLATED, IT WASN'T IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR THEM TO CHECK INTO. THE CAR REMAINS PARKED AT A LOCAL GARAGE AWAITING INVESTIGATION.
WAS DRIVING SMELLED HOT WHEN GOT HOME 3 MILES LATTER OPENED HOOD COOLING FAN WAS SMOKING THEN CAUGHT ON FIRE

THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER AND TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS TOLD THAT THE INNER CORE OF THE TRANSMISSION WAS LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 146,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT PULLED OFF THE ROAD AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE ENGINE FAILED AND WILL COST $6,800 TO REPLACE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 12,000.
AS I WAS DRIVING UP A HILL MY CAR LOST POWER AND STARTED TO SMOKE. AS I PULLED OFF THE ROAD THE ENGINE QUIT, AND A FIRE STARTED UNDER THE HOOD.
IMMEDIATE LOSS OF VEHICLE POWER..CAR WENT DEAD AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED TO SMOKE AND WITHIN SECONDS THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS UP IN FLAMES. VEHICLE DID NOT OVERHEAT.. ENGINE COMPARTMENT SUFFERED MAJOR FIRE DAMAGE,INSURANCE COMPANY INVESTIGATION STILL PENDING. *JB
