DRIVING EAST IN THE FAR LEFT LANE WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE, FORD TAURUS, ENTERED THE LANE CAUSING A HEAD ON COLLISION. I WAS TRAVELING WITHIN THE SPEED LIMITS. I HAVE INJURIES AND REINJURED PARTS OF MY BODY. OCTOBER 26 2020.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE WAS HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE COMING FROM THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS IT WAS MAKING A TURN INTO A PARKING LOT. THE CONTACT WAS INJURED BUT NOT TRANSPORTED BY AMBULANCE TO A HOSPITAL SHE WENT TO THE DOCTOR THE SAME DAY DAY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND TOWED AWAY TO A SALVAGE LOT. THE FRONTAL AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DURING THE CRASH.THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 103,000. TF
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. THE CONTACT STATED THAT TWO CHILDREN SEATED IN THE THIRD ROW SEATS WAS INJURED DUE TO THE SEAT BELT NOT RETAINING THEIR FORWARD MOTION. THE TWO CHILDREN SEATED IN THE THIRD ROW OF THE VEHICLE HIT THEIR HEADS ON THE SEAT BACK OF THE MIDDLE ROW SEATS. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS SOUGHT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT AUTO REPAIR CENTER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED OR DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V375000 (SEAT BELTS) OR 14V266000 (SEAT BELTS. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000.

THE CONTACT SUSTAINED UNKNOWN INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
WAS GETTING READY TO PARK ON THE STREET WHEN A CAR HIT ME,I HIT A CAR IN FRONT OF ME,MY CAR WAS THROWN ON THE SIDE WALK,I WAS PASS OUT FOR A FEW SECONDS,BUMP MY HEAD,MY CAR WAS TOTAL, FRONT AND REAR,SURPRISINGLY MY AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY TO HELP PROTECT ME FROM MY INJURIES I GOT. *TR

THE CONTACT STATED WHILE STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF HIS VEHICLE AND AS A RESULT OF THE IMPACT HIS VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE IN FRONT. THE CONTACT ALSO MENTIONED THE VEHICLE IN THE REAR CRASHED INTO THE TRUCK NEXT TO IT, CAUSING IT TO CRASH INTO THE CONTACTS FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR. THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUFFERED MULTIPLE INJURIES AND WAS HOSPITALIZED. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF RECALL NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V118000 (AIR BAGS).THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
WAS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. I WAS GOING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH. OTHER DRIVER ACCELERATED TO UNKNOWN SPEED AND STRUCK MY VEHICLE IN THE DRIVER DOOR. DOOR WAS CRUSHED TO THE POINT THAT IT WAS UP AGAINST MY THIGH. NEITHER OF THE SIDE AIRBAGS WENT OFF. VEHICLE HAS APPROXIMATELY $10,600 IN DAMAGE AND I AM RECOVERING FROM A FRACTURE IN MY LOWER BACK. CURIOUS WITH THIS KIND OF DAMAGE AND INJURY WHY THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *TR
1. STOPPED AT RED LIGHT IN 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE SUV AND REAR ENDED BY A NISSAN FRONTIER PICK UP TRUCK TRAVELING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. DRIVER'S SEAT BELT ON BUT DRIVER'S HEAD THROWN AGAINST WINDSHIELD AND THEN DRIVER'S BODY SLAMMED AGAINST THE BACK OF THE DRIVER'S SEAT WHICH WAS FORCED BACK TO A RECLINING POSITION. AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. 2. SEAT BELT FAILED TO PREVENT DRIVER'S HEAD FROM HITTING WINDSHIELD IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO IN THIS TYPE OF COLLISION. DID THE SEAT BACK ACT PROPERLY IN SUCH A COLLISION? WAS THE AIRBAG SUPPOSED TO DEPLOY IN THIS TYPE OF COLLISION. 3. IN BODY SHOP TO REPAIR TO PRE-ACCIDENT CONDITION.. *TR
Side airbags deployed when we slid off the road. No impact not even a scratch or dent on the vehicle. We did not hit anything but only slid sideways off the road. The insurance company inspected the vehicle nothing but the airbags were damaged. No other warnings.
HIT A DEER DIDN'T DO NO DAMAGE TO THE CAR THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED BUT NOT ALL THE FRONT AIRBAGS JUST THE ONE IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND PASSENGER SIDE DASH
TRAVELING APROX 55MPH. LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKING POWER. VEHICLE ENDED UP IN A DITCH AND NOW NO LONGER RUNNING. ACCIDENT CLAIM MADE WITH GEICO.
POWER STEERING FAILS WITHOUT WARNING WHEN MAKING TURNS, PARTICULARLY AT LOW SPEEDS. THEN AS QUICKLY AS IT FAILS, IT WILL RETURN AGAIN. THE CAR NOW HAS 120,000 MILES ON IT, BUT THIS ISSUE STARTED WHEN IT ONLY HAD 50,000 MILES ON IT, AND WAS JUST OUT OF WARRANTEE. 3 DIFFERENT MECHANICS INCLUDING THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAVE SAID THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AS THE POWER STEERING PUMP IS WORKING PROPERLY AND THE POWER STEERING RESERVOIR IS PROPERLY FILLED. THE DEALER ACTUALLY TOLD US 'IT'S JUST TIME FOR A NEW CAR GUYS.' WE HAVE SPOKEN IN PERSON TO TWO OTHER OWNERS OF TRAVERSES AND THEY DESCRIBE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM.

THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, BUT FAILED TO SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE CRASHED THROUGH THE GATE OF THE PARKING FACILITY AND ALSO CRASHED INTO A PARKED VEHICLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS CITED FOR RECKLESS DRIVING AND FAILING TO OPERATE A VEHICLE IN A SAFE MANNER. THE CONTACT WAS NOT INJURED. THE VEHICLE WAS FIRST TOWED TO CALIBRE COLLISION AND THEN TO JOHN ELWAY CHEVROLET (LOCATED AT 5200 S. BROADWAY, ENGLEWOOD, COLORADO 80113, TEL: (303)761-0333) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT IT WOULD TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE THE INVESTIGATION WOULD BE FINALIZED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 861039. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 24,994. *JS
POWER STEERING GOES OUT INTERMITTENTLY, PRIMARILY AT LOW SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE CAN NOT BE CONTROLLED FOR LOW SPEED STEERING, PUMP HAS BEEN CHECKED AND DEALER SAID IT IS ELECTRONIC BUT NOT CERTAIN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING AND ON ONE OCCASION, THE CONTACT WAS FORCED TO CRASH INTO A MAIL BOX IN AN ATTEMPT TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS NOT INJURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS HOWEVER, THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE POWER STEERING GETS STUCK. I CAN'T TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. THE STEERING WHEEL HAS GOTTEN STUCK WHILE TURNING AT A LIGHT. *TR
AT LOW SPEED I WAS UNABLE TO STEER CLEAR OF AN OBSTACLE BECAUSE THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME VERY DIFFICULT TO TURN, ALMOST TO THE POINT OF LOCKING. I HAD TO FORCE THE STEERING WHEEL WITH BOTH HANDS TO HAVE IT MOVE AT ALL. THE LOCKUP CAUSED LOSS OF STEERING AND I STRUCK ANOTHER OBJECT. THE PROBLEM COMES AND GOES AND NOW IS BECOMING MORE AND MORE PREVALENT. DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANY CONSISTENT PATTERN, HOT, COLD, SHORT DRIVE, LONG DRIVE, ETC. PROBLEM OCCURS WHILE TURNING IN BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT DIRECTION. AT TIMES I GET THE FEELING THAT IT HAPPENS WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKE. *TR
The contact owned a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, the contact discovered that the driver's side door, the driver's side seat, and the ceiling had caught on fire and was burned; the windshield was also cracked. The vehicle was unoccupied during the fire. A Fire Department report was filed the following day and the Fire Department inspected the vehicle and determined that the wiring was hot to the touch and could have possibly caused the fire; the vehicle was deemed totaled. The local dealer was not contacted. A Police report was not filed. The vehicle remained at the residence. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 175,000.
The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that after refueling, the vehicle would stall. The contact mentioned that the vehicle required to be revved in order to prevent it from stalling. The contact stated that when the failure occurred a previous time, there was a lot of smoke, and she noticed that the driver's side air filter had caught fire, however, extinguished itself. The contact stated that she did not have to contact the fire department, nor did she sustain any injuries. The contact stated that she contacted the dealer, and she was advised that there were no recalls on her vehicle at the time. The failure mileage was 100,000.
