The contact stated while driving 20-25 MPH, the vehicle in front of her vehicle stopped abruptly, causing the contact's vehicle to hit the rear end of the other vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. The contact's grand-daughter who was occupying the front passenger's seat hit her chin against the dashboard. The contact's grand-daughter sustained a bruise on the chin but did not seek medical assistance. The vehicle was drivable. The contact later filed a police report but did not have the police report information available. Additionally, the contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V334000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted several times. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 135,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
DRIVER SIDE REAR BRAKE PAD RETAINER DEFECTIVE. PART IS MADE SO THAT THE BRAKE PADS DO NOT MOVE SO THAT YOU GET SEVERE PAD WEAR, SAME AS IF YOU HAD A FROZEN CALIPER. DEALER DID NOTHING TO FIX IT. MY BROTHER HAD A 2016 AND THE OTHER SIDE DID THE SAME THING. I ALSO NOTICED MY FRIENDS 2019 BLAZER WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. CAN'T FIND ONE TO REPLACE IT SO I GROUND THE ENDS OF THE PADS SO THEY COULD MOVE FREELY. OTHER INDICATION IS SPONGY FEEL STOPPING THE CAR. CAR WRECK DAMAGE IMPACT BY OTHER DRIVER HIT HEAD FRONT OF VEHICLE, CAUSED DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE DOORS TO NOT OPEN, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY!
I WAS BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED GOING ABOUT 50MPH AND HIT A TREE IN MY YARD, THEN THE FRONT END LIFTED OFF THE GROUND AND THE CAR RACED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO MY FRIEND'S CAR. THEY BOTH HIT MY PICKUP TRUCK ALSO. ALL 3 VEHICLES ARE A TOTAL LOSS. FROM THE NEIGHBORS WHO OBSERVED THIS, IT'S A MIRACLE I WASN'T BADLY INJURED. ALSO I HAVE A TEAR IN MY ACHILLES TENDON ON RIGHT FOOT SO IN NO WAY COULD I HAVE MASHED ON ACCELERATOR
MY VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION GOING 40 MPH ON THE I-17 FREEWAY AND WAS REAR ENDED BY A VEHICLE GOING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH UPON IMPACT ALL SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS AND DRIVER SEAT AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED AFTER DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGERS WERE THROWN FORWARD DURING THE ACCIDENT UPON OUR BODIES BEING THROWN BACK AGAINST THE SEATS THE SEATS BOTH FELL INTO RECLINE POSITIONS ON TOP OF OUR TWO CHILDREN IN THE CENTER ROW BUCKET SEATS. OUR SEATS FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE IMPACT OF OUR BODIES AND KEEP US UPRIGHT PROTECTING US FROM INJURY AND NECK AND BACK WHIPLASH.

ON TWO OCCASIONS THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LAKE COUNTRY BUICK GMC LOCATED AT 123 5TH ST NE, DEVILS LAKE, ND 58301, (701)401-2164 AND RYDELL CHEVROLET BUICK GMC CADILLAC, 2700 S WASHINGTON ST, GRAND FORKS, ND 58201, (701)772-7211, TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED OR INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,500.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TURNING INTO A PARKING LOT AT 5-10 MPH, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED AND THE VEHICLE VIOLENTLY ACCELERATED CAUSING THE CONTACT TO CRASH INTO A BUILDING. THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED BUT FAILED TO ENGAGED PROPERLY. NO AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. NO INJURIES SUSTAINED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS CONTACTED AND TOOK VITALS. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BY NATIONWIDE TO INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE COSMETIC REPAIRS WERE BEING PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE WARE OF THE FAILURE. THE DAMAGE WAS TO THE BUILDING AND FRONT BUMPER. NO DEALER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,700.
I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT TODAY WITH 2 OF MY 5 CHILDREN NO AIR BAGS DEPLOYED! AND WITH HOW HARD WE GOT HIT THEY SHOULD HAVE. WE WERE STOPPED GETTING READY TO MAKE A LEFT TURN ON A CITY STREET
I WAS SLOWLY BACKING OUT OF MY GARAGE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY 2015 TRAVERSE ACCELERATED TO 40-50 MILES PER HOUR TO MY HORROR. I FELT LIKE I WAS IN THE INDY 500. THE CAR BACKED INTO A TREE IN MY FRONT YARD, THEN AT THE SAME HIGH SPEED LIFTED OFF THE GROUND AND RACED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO 2 PARKED CARS IN MY BACK YARD. HAD THE 2 PARKED CARS NOT STOPPED ME MY NEIGHBORS FEEL I WOULD HAVE GONE INTO THE LAKE IN MY BACK YARD. MY AIR BAG DID NOT GO OFF, YET THE ONE IN THE EMPTY PARKED CAR DID GO OFF. ALL 3 VEHICLES WERE A TOTAL LOSS.
I WAS ORIGINALLY IN A PARKING LOT, STOPPED COMPLETELY, THEN PROCEEDED TO GENTLY TURN LEFT IN TO A PARKING SPACE. I BARELY PUSHED THE GAS PEDAL AND THE CAR REVVED UP AND TOOK OFF FULL SPEED AHEAD MAKING ME CRASH IN TO A HILL. THE HILL IS A SMALL LANDSCAPE SPACE THAT DIVIDES THE PARKING LOT AND A BUSY 6 LANE STREET. THE FRONT OF THE CAR WAS DAMAGED. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED YET THANKFUL THIS DID NOT HAPPEN IN AN INTERSECTION OR IN TRAFFIC. I HAD THE CAR IMMEDIATELY TOWED TO A CHEVY DEALERSHIP SO THEY CAN ASSESS THE ISSUE AND I DID NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING STARTING IT UP AND DRIVING AGAIN. I TOWED IT TO THE SAME DEALERSHIP I HAD JUST LEFT FROM AS THIS SAME DAY THEY HAD COMPLETED A REPAIR ON THE EMISSIONS SYSTEM. I FILED A CLAIM WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY. I'M STILL WAITING TO FOR THE VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORT DETAILS.

RECENTLY LEASED VEHICLE IS A HAZARD! ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS WHEN DRIVING, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATES, DECELERATES AND BRAKES ON ITS OWN. TRANSMISSION CAUGHT ON FIRE WITH NO PRIOR WARNING. THE VEHICLE CAN NOT DRIVE STRAIGHT, IT DOES NOT MOVE WHEN PLACED INTO REVERSE AND SOUNDS LIKE A CAR BADLY OUT OF SHAPE. THE VEHICLE BUCKS AND MAKES LOUD CLUNKING SOUNDS AS IF THE DIFFERENT SPEEDS COULD NOT KICK IN. THE CAR HAS NEVER GIVEN ANY WARNING ON THE DASHBOARD FOR ALL THE ISSUES IT PRESENTS. ELECTRICAL ISSUES: CAN NOT CHARGE PHONE ON IT. TAKEN VEHICLE TO THE MECHANIC AT THE DEALERSHIP BUT THEIR REPORTS STATE NO CODES AVAILABLE FOR ANY POSSIBLE ISSUE. ONLY UNTIL THE CAR STARTED TO BURN AND SHOW SMOKE, DID THE MECHANICS ATTEMPT TO FIX IT. REPORT RETURNED SHOWS THAT THE TRANSMISSION CAUGHT ON FIRE WITH NO ROOT CAUSE FOUND, STEERING WHEEL AND ALIGNMENT WHERE NEEDED, SEVERAL PIECES KNOWN AS CLUTCHES/PATS HAD TO BE REPLACED. ALL THESE ISSUES PRESENTED DRIVING IN STREET TRAFFIC UNDER 40MPH AND IN SHORT DISTANCES.
DROVE MY BRAND NEW 2015 CHEVY TRAVERSE TO WORK FOR 2.1 MILES, PARKED, WITHIN 15 MINS MY CAR CAUGHT ON FIRE. TOTALED. FIRE DEPT HAD TO PUT FIRE OUT. TYSONS CORNER, VA PARKED AT 8281 GREENSBORO DRIVE, TYSONS, VA 22102
I OPENED MY POWER LIFT GATE USING MY KEY FAB. AFTER PUTTING ITEMS IN THE BACK, I PUSHED THE CLOSE BUTTON LOCATED ON THE LIFT GATE. I THOUGHT I HAD LEFT MY KEYS LAYING INSIDE WITH THE ITEMS I HAD JUST PLACED IN THE BACK OF THE VEHICLE. KNOWING THAT THE SENSORS WOULD READ THAT MY ARM WOULD BLOCK THE DOOR FROM CLOSING, I COULD RETRIEVE MY KEYS. AS IT CONTINUED TO CLOSE, I REALIZED THAT IT WAS NOT RECOGNIZING MY ARM. AS I TRIED TO PULL MY ARM AWAY FROM THE DOOR, IT CAUGHT MY THUMB AND CRUSHED IT. IT REMAINED CLOSED IN THE BACK HATCH UNTIL HELP ARRIVED TO OPEN IT WITH THE KEYS. I WENT TO MY DR AND RECEIVED XRAYS. I FRACTURED MY THUMB AND AM CURRENTLY RECEIVING PHYSICAL THERAPY TREATMENT. I AM CONSTANTLY IN PAIN. WHEN I CONTACTED GENERAL MOTORS, I WAS BRUSHED OFF.

My engine light came on. When I get gas the car will not just start there is a fuel leak code and a valve code. Getting looked at next week at the dealer
Transmission issues
The 2015 Chevy Traverse LTZ that I own is presenting with the same problems as many of its body style and year. The water intrusion has caused wiring to corrode in the side detection system & the drivers door wiring harness is presenting with open circuits. The LH side object module is throwing code U0233:00. They tested circuits at RH module. Found water intrusion in module, & corrosion on terminals & harness. Due to nature of location of modules, they recommend replacing LH & RH modules & harness. DTC B0085:05 current. Tested circuits & found open circuit internal to drivers door harness. Recommend replacing harness. The air bag code threw 2 days after I bought the veh 04/01/25, I attempted to contact the dealership I bought the vehicle from, AutoCredit in Hayden, ID, who admitted to the dangerous code being present, and that they were going to do nothing about it. Some time late April, my veh threw the code for side detection. On 05/27/25 I took my veh into Taylor & Sons Chevy in Ponderay, who dx my codes, and advised the above was needed. They also confirmed the fact that when that airbag code is present, that none of my airbags would deploy at time of impact if a collision occurred. This is a huge safety risk as much of my daily commute is on the hwy, and the influx of drivers in my area not familiar with the roads is increasing daily. My side detection system is a safety hazard as well due to the Traverse’s blind spots. Thank you for your time. I did not know what to do until I contacted Chevy directly who advised me to contact the NHTSA.
For the past 2 months every time I reach 40 mph service stabilitrak comes on and the car starts pulling to the left and having trouble accelerating. I have took it to 3 mechanics and they can't find the problem at all

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that all the front air bag modules had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact was also informed that the rear air bags could potentially be inoperable and might require to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
