VEHICLE DOWNSHIFTS HARD IN SLOW TRAFFIC. VEHICLE THEN PROCEEDS TO TURN OFF BUT ENGINE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL YOU PUT FOOT ON BRAKE PUT VEHICLE IN PARK AND PUSH ENGINE BUTTON. THE DEALERSHIP RESETS CODE AND RUNS GOOD FOR ABOUT 200 TO 400 MILES AND HAPPENS AGAIN. BEEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP THREE TIMES. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS JERKY BETWEEN 30 TO 37 MPH AND THEN ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND VEHILCE STOPS.

Head on Collison with light pole high speed the no airbags deployed. Vehicle was towed to tow yard is awaiting insurance to estimate damages.
AFTER BEING REAR ENDED AT A STOPPED POSITION AND PUSHED INTO ANOTHER STOPPED VEHICLE IN FRONT, THUS CAUSING A DOUBLE COLLISION, THE DRIVER SEAT HEADREST COMPLETELY EJECTED FROM DRIVER SEAT. DRIVER SEAT ADJUSTMENT BAR CAUSED DEEP TISSUE DAMAGE TO LEGS. THIRD ROW SEAT SPLIT AND SEPARATED SEAT SURFACE FROM BACK SUPPORT. INCIDENT TOOK PLACE AT A REDLIGHT FOR A LEFT-TURN LANE FROM THE HIGHWAY TO AN INTERSECTING ROAD. VEHICLE WAS STRUCK BY A MINIVAN STILL MAINTAINING FULL HIGHWAY SPEED OF AT LEAST 55 MPH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 36,632.
THE VEHICLE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT ON NOVEMBER 26, 2015. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY. THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE SINCE PURCHASE. THE BRAKING WAS NOT ACCURATE. THE CAR WOULD LOSE STEERING FUNCTIONALITY ALONG WITH BRAKING CAPACITY AND HAS BECOME HAZARDOUS WHILE DRIVING. ON NOVEMBER, 26TH, 2015, AN ACCIDENT OCCURRED DUE TO THE MALFUNCTION OF THIS VEHICLE. AT THIS TIME, THE PARTS TO REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONED PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. I HAVE RECEIVED 2 RECALL NOTICES FOR MY BRAND NEW TRUCK. MY 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND I WERE INJURED IN THIS ACCIDENT. *TR
The rear view camera has become unreliable. It sometimes flickers. It sometimes is upside down. It is sometimes gray. It works properly about 10% of the time. I believe it was a significant contributor to my backing into and damaging another vehicle in a parking lot. I understand that there is a recall notification (NHTSA 25V552; Chrysler 59C) for the Dodge Journey beginning with model year 2019. This vehicle is a 2016. I am not overly concerned about the specific accident noted above but do consider this a serious risk that should be reported.

MY VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON A CITY STREET WHEN SUDDENLY MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND BRAKE WERE HARD TO PUSH CAUSING ME TO SIDE SWIPE A PARKED CAR.

THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE POST HOLDING THE HANDICAP SIGN FOR THE PARKING SPACE. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NO INJURIES AND NO MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS NEEDED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKES WERE FAULTY, HOWEVER, THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO IDENTIFY THE EXACT CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TURNERSVILLE JEEP CHRYSLER DODGE RAM (3100 NJ-42, ERIAL, NJ 08081, (856) 316-7956) WHERE THEY REPLACED THE FRONT SENSOR AND HUB BEARING. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE UNSPECIFIED PART AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SAFE TO DRIVE IN THE INTERIM. WHILE DRIVING, THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE FAILED TO STOP AND REAR ENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. THE GRILL OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPLACED THE ABS PART AFTER THE CRASH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THEY WANTED TO EXAMINE THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER CONCLUDED THAT THERE WAS NO MALFUNCTION WITH THE BRAKES AFTER THE REPAIRS FROM THE CRASH WERE ALREADY COMPLETED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE BEARINGS WERE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT FELT THAT THE DEALER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CRASH. I WAS TURNING INTO A PARKING SPOT OUTSIDE OF MY WORK AND THE CAR REVVED AND JERKED FORWARD; I HAD TO SWERVE TO MISS AND PILLAR AND SLAM ON MY BRAKES BECAUSE IT JUMPED OVER A CURB AND ALMOST HIT A BUILDING! THE PARKING SPOT WAS A LITTLE UPWARD SO I DID HAVE TO HAVE MY FOOT ON THE GAS

Was driving car after cleaning it had a box in trunk that barely took a portion of the trunk up. While drive smelt smoke and electrical smell and my trunk was on fire inside. Pulled over and the back hatch inside got so hot from what I can only guess was electrical that the box caught fire. This caused a whole inside back hatch and melted part of my seat and damaged my storage containers.
