WHILE IN A CAR CRASH AT 45 MPH, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WAS ONE FATALITY AND TWO PASSENGERS SUSTAINED INJURIES. *AK
i was involved in a collision on US30 3 miles west of Rainer Oregon. where I struck another Ford truck while cruising at 55 mph. The vehicle I struck pulled in front of me, my vehicle was severely damaged in the front end and the steering wheel and lower dash panel injured me.,
TIRE BLEW OUT ON INTERESTATE. TIRES ONLY 1-2 MONTHS OLD AT THE TIME OF BLOW OUT. CAUSED THE TRUCK TO FLIP ACROSS LANES OF TRAFFIC AND LAND ON ITS SIDE IN THE MEDIAN. PASSENGER WAS INJURED. TIRES WERE FEDERAL COURAGIA M/T. *TR
THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT COLLISION AND NEITHER AIR BAG DEPLOYED. DEALER NOTIFIED.*AK A VEHICLE RAN THE STOP SIGN AND THE CONSUMER HIT THE VEHICLE ON A 90 DEGREE ANGLE. THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE VEERED UPON IMPACT AND WENT INTO AN EMBANKMENT. THERE FOUR HORSE TRAILER WITH THREE HORSES ON BOARD JACKNIFED AND CAUSED THE TRUCK TO HEAD EASTBOUND AS IT ROLLED OVER THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR. ALL WINDOWS EXCEPT THE WINDSHIELD POPPED OUT. THERE WAS MORE DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT FRONT SIDE THAN THE LEFT SIDE. *PH *JB
WHILE I WAS EXITING MY TRUCK, WITH MOTOR OFF AND TRANSMISSION IN PARK, THE PIN THAT HOLDS IT IN PARK FAILED AND ALLOWED THE TRUCK TO ROLL BACKWARDS. THIS SCOPED ME UP IN THE DOOR AND DRAGGED ME OVER THE HILLSIDE NEXT TO THE ROAD. I HAD TO ESCAPE FROM THE DOOR BEFORE IT RAN INTO TREES, AND IN THAT PROCESS DISLOCATED MY LEFT ELBOW AND TWO RIBS ALONG WITH NUMEROUS BRUISES. THE TRUCK IS AT A REPAIR SHOP TO REVIEW WHAT HAPPENED TO ITS PARK GEAR.*AK
DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIRBAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY DURING A 50 MPH FRONTAL COLLISION, DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO HIS FACE, DEALER HAS BEEN CONTACTED.*AK. *JB
TWICE I WAS HIT IN THE FRONT END AND TWICE THE AIRBAGS DID NOT GO OFF. IS IT POSSIBLE THE AIR BAGS ARENT IN THERE AT ALL?*AK
WHILE TRAVELING AT 42MPH ANOTHER VEHICLE GOT IN THE WAY OF CONSMER'S VEHICLE, AND IT RAN INTO OTHER VEHICLE HEAD-ON. UPON IMPACT, NONE OF FRONTAL AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. CONSUMER AND PASSENGER WERE SERIOUSLY HURT IN THE CRASH. CONTACTED DEALER, AND THE DEALER WASD NOT WILLING TO LOOK INTO DEFECT OF VEHICLE. *AK
FRONT OF TRUCK TOTALED FROM 2 IMPACKS BUT NO AIRBAGS CAME OUT. *AK
COMPLETE TREAD SEPARATION. TIRES ARE FAIRLY NEW AND IN VERY GOOD SHAPE.*AK (TIRESIZE: 3057060)
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION OF 25-30 MPH, AND BOTH AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. DEALER/MANUFACTURER WERE NOT NOTIFIED AT THIS TIME. DRIVER REPORTED NECK/ARM AND SHOULDER INJURIES. *AK
ROTORS HAVE BEEN RECUT 3 TIMES. BRAKE PADS HAVE NOT NEEDED REPLACEMENT YET.WHEN I JAMED ON BRAKES THEY VIBRATED THEN FADED CAUSING A REAR END COLLISION. *AK
I SUFFERED CLOSED HEAD TRAUMA WITH AMNESIA IN THE ACCIDENT. THE TRUCK HAD NO GRASS OR DIRT ON THE FRONT UNDERCARRIAGE. THE FRONT BODY CLIP WAS DESTROYED AS WELL AS THE SIDE DOORS AND BED. THE LEFT WHEEL STEERING LINKAGE WAS SHEARED OFF. TURNING THE STEERING WOULD NOT TURN THE WHEELS. I READ IN THE PAPER THAT YOU HAVE UPGRADED INVESTIGATION ON STEERING PROBLEMS IN THIS MODEL.
CONSUMER HAD LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE AND RAN OFF ROAD, HTTING TWO TREES HEAD-ON. UPON IMPACT, DUAL AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, AND SEATBELT CAME LOOSE, CAUSING INJURIES, AND $11,000 WORTH OF DAMAGE. BODY SHOP THAT REPAIRED VEHICLE COULD NOT FIND AIRBAG SENSORS, AND FELT THAT THEY WERE MISSING, THAT THEY WERE NEVER INSTALLED AT FACTORY. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH HAD A DIRECT FRONTAL IMPACT WITH A TRUCK TRAVELING ABOUT 50 MPH. UPON IMPACT, DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, WHICH DID NOT PROTECT THE OCCUPANT IN THE CRASH. OTHER TRUCK'S AIRBAGS DID DEPLOY. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION. *AK
THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION @ 50MPH,.UPON IMPACT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, AND SEAT BELT DID NOT RETRACT, CAUSING MINOR INJURIES. MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
WHILE IN REVERSE VEHICLE SUDDENLY/ UNEXPECTEDLY ACCELERATED, RESULTING IN A MINOR INJURY. DRIVER PUT VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND THE VEHICLE PROCEEDED TO ACCELERATE, EVENTUALLY RESULTING IN A MINOR COLLISION. MANUFACTURER WILL BE NOTIFIED. *AK
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION AT APPROXIMATELY 30-35 MPH, CAUSING VEHICLE TO HIT A STEEL LIGHT POLE. UPON IMPACT, BOTH AIRBAG'S EXPERIENCED NO DEPLOYMENT, WHICH RESULTED IN HEAD INJURIES, MINOR WRIST AND BACK INJURIES. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. *AK *YC
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION AT 35MPH. UPON IMPACT, THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES. VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. MANUFACTURER WILL BE NOTIFIED. *AK
THE VEHICLE CAME OUT OF GEAR (PARK), IT PROCEEDED TO ROLL BACKWARDS DOWN THE HILL. THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR WAS OPEN AND CAUGHT ON A TREE WHICH WAS NEAR THE VEHICLE. IT ALSO KNOCKED DOWN AND INJURED A 4 YEAR OLD AS IT WAS ROLLING DOWN THE HILL. THE VEHICLE WAS SLOWED DOWN BY THE TREE, WHICH BARELY GAVE THE DRIVER ENOUGH TIME TO CLIMB INTO THE VEHICLE AND BRING IT TO A COMPLETE STOP BEFORE IT WENT BACKWARDS INTO A REVINE. IT HAS NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED WHY THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED.
