MR. PHILIPS WITNESSED INCIDENCE OF EJECTION OF A CHILD WHEN VEHICLE WAS HIT BROADSIDE, THEN REAR LIFTGATE FLEW OPEN, RESULTING IN FATAL INJURIES. TT
DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE INVOLVED IN A CRASH AT 35MPH, THE BELT POSITIONING BOOSTER SEAT DID NOT HOLD THE CHILD TO THE VEHICLE SEAT. THE CHILD HAD ENOUGH SLACK FROM THE SEAT BELT, CAUSING THE CHILD'S FACE TO HIT THE BACK OF THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT. THE CHILD RECEIVED INJURIES TO THE FACE AND ALSO RECEIVED INTERNAL INJURIES. THE CHILD SEAT WAS CENTURY, MODEL # 214495 MANUFACTURED 9-21-2004. AFTER THE ACCIDENT, THE CHILD SEAT WAS DISCARDED. THE POLICE WERE PRESENT AT THE SCENE AND PROVIDED A WRITTEN REPORT.
VEHICLE WAS IN A ROLLOVER ACCIDENT. SEAT BELTS DID NOT SECURE DRIVER OR PASSENGER. DRIVER WENT THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD, AND THE PASSENGER WENT THROUGH THE PASSENGER DOOR. OCCUPANTS SUFFERED SERIOUS INJURIES.*AK VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A ROLLOVER ACCIDENT AND THE SEAT BELT EQUIPMENT DID NOT SECURE THE DRIVER OR THE PASSENGER. THE PASSENGER WENT THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD AND THE DRIVER WAS EJECTED OUT OF THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR. BOTH OCCUPANTS WERE SERIOUSLY INJURIED.*MR
INSURED STRUCK CLAIMENT IN THE REAR. INSURED AND DAUGHTER WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR INJURIES. THIS WAS A FRONT END IMPACT. INSURED QUESTIONS WHY THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY, CLAIM 55-S392-761. *JG
WHILE TRAVELING, ANOTHER VEHICLE CROSSED OVER TRAFFIC IN FRONT OF VEHICLE. AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY, CLAIM 19-4056-055. *JG
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. UPON IMPACT, AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES.*AK
THE INVESTIGATION IS NOT YET COMPLETED SO I COULD NOT ANSWER THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF DAMAGES. I DARE SAY MY VEHICLE IS TOTALLED. NO SAFETY DEFECT INDICATED. *AK
VAN WAS AT COMPLETE STOP WHEN REARENDED BY CAR GOING AT APPROXIMATELY 70/75 MILES PER HOUR. THE BACK PART OF THE DRIVERS SEAT BROKE UPON IMPACT AND SEPARATED FROM BOTTOM SEAT.
AFTER STARTING VEHICLE FROM THE PARK POSITION VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED AT A VERY HIGH SPEED OUT OF CONTROL, HITTING A WALL, CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK THE VEHICLE SCRAPED AGAINST WALL DAMAGING THE DRIVER'S FRONT QUARTER PANEL AND BROKE THE MIRROR. *YH
WHILE TRAVELING 25-30 MPH AND AS A RESULT OF AN ACCIDENT HEAD-ON AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AT ANY TIME. CONSUMER WAS INJURED PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
VEHICLE WAS STRUCK FROM THE REAR WHICH CAUSED BOTH FRONT BUCKET SEAT TO COLLAPSE. DEALER/MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED AT THIS TIME. *AK
VEHICLE INVOLVED IN 1 ACCIDENT. DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY- I CONTACTED THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT EITHER THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SPEED(MY SON WAS GOING 40MPH) OR THAT THERE WAS NO FRONTAL IMPACT WHERE THE SENSOR IS. THE FRONT END HAS MUCH DAMAGE, AS WELL AS THE WHOLE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. THE ONLY PART NOT DAMAGED WAS THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT. AFTER IMPACT THE VAN STARTED TO ROLL. I FEEL LIKE THE AIRBAG SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED ON IMPACT. WHY DIDN'T IT? *AK
WHILE TRAVELING 5MPH AND AS A RESULT OF AN ACCIDENT, AIR BAGS DEPLOYED, CAUSING INJURY TO DRIVER'S LEFT EYE. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER INFORMATON. *AK
WHEN VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE, TRAVELING ABOUT 40 MPH, THERE WAS NO DEPLOYMENT OF THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. VEHICLE WILL BE REPAIRED. *AK
DURING IMPACT VIOLENT DEPLOYMENT OF AIR BAG RESULTED IN BRUISES AND SKIN BURNS TO CONSUMER. MJS
CONSUMER STOPPED TO MAKE A LEFT TURN AND A TOYOTA CAMRY REAR ENDED CONSUMER'S VAN. DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S FRONT SEATBACKS BROKE. UNIBODY/REAR LEAF SPRINGS WERE BENT, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. THREE PASSENGERS SUSTAINED INJURIES. *AK
CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN SIDE IMPACT COLLISION IN WHICH THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY, CAUSE UNKNOWN. CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING AT 5 MPH, AND THE VEHICLE THAT HIT HER WAS TRAVELING AT 45 MPH. IN ADDITION, SEAT BELTS FAILED TO CATCH, RESULTING IN FURTHER INJURY TO THE DRIVER. *AK *ML
VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT (REAR IMPACT), DRIVERS SEATBACK BROKE. MANUFACTURER'S INSPECTOR LOOKED AT THE CAR, AND STATED THAT THETHE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED IN SUCH MANNER THAT THE DRIVER COULD NOT GO THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. *AK
VEHICLE WAS REAR ENDED AND DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT COLLASPED. DEALER SAYS SEATS ARE MADE TO DO THAT. *AK
VEHICLE CAME DOWN ON A DECLINE IN SNOW, WENT INTO A DITCH. THE DRIVER TURNED COMPLETELY SIDEWAYS, AND HIT THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW, AND ENDED UP FACING THE BACKSEAT. DEALER SAID NOTHING WRONG WITH THE SEAT BELTS. THERE IS NOW A RECALL ON THE SEAT BELTS. *AK
