MY SON WAS WORKING WITH THE OWNER OF THE TRUCK IN N.C. TRUCK WENT OFF ROAD HIT TREE BOTH DIED MY SON WAS THROWN OUT OF TRUCK AND LANDED UNDER THE TRUCK. POLICE SAID AIRBAGS DID NOT WORK RIGHT BUT DUE TO FIRE IT WAS SAID TO BE INCONCLUSIVE. THERE WAS ALSO A DOG IN THE BACK SEAT THAT GOT OUT WITH OUT INJURY . THIS IS WHAT LEADS ME TO THINK THE AIRBAGS WERE NOT WORKING IF SO MY SON AND THE OTHER BOY WOULD OF HAD A BETTER CHANCE TO GET OUT OF THE TRUCK BEFORE THE FIRE STARTED. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE DRIVER SUFFERED A FRACTURED CERVICAL AND LUMBER SPINE AND LEFT HIP AND ELBOW INJURIES. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000.

THE CONTACT SUSTAINED WHIPLASH INJURIES ON THE BACK AND NECK THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.

STARTING 3 YEARS AGO MY TRUCK STARTED DOING THE DEATH WOBBLE AT SPEEDS OF 35 AND UP WHEN EVER YOU HIT ANY BUMP IN THE ROAD, THE WHEEL WOULD SHAKE SO VIOLENTLY IT WOULD CAUSE THE LOSS OF CONTROL FOR STEERING. THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED TO ME THE TRUCK WENT INTO A DITCH AND THREW ME INTO THE WINDOW, IT HAS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN FOR YEARS NOW. DEALERSHIPS HAVE SAID NOTHING IS WRONG, EVEN THOUGH IT CONTINUES TO HAPPEN. I ONLY HAVE 38K MILES ON THE TRUCK BECAUSE I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT WITH MY FAMILY INSIDE DUE TO THIS CONDITION. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS, IT HAS BEEN AN ON GOING PROBLEM FOR AT LEASE 10 YEARS NOW. I WAS INVOLVED IN AN MVC THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY, AND MY ABS DID NOT WORK. ALL I COULD HEAR WAS THE TIRES SLIDING. COULD NOT HEAR THE SOUND OF OR THE FEELING OF THE ABS WORKING. I ALSO TRIED TO SEE IF THEY WORKED WHEN WE HAD THE LAST SNOW. THE SAME THING HAPPENED. MY WHEELS LOCKED UP AND I JUST SLIDDED. MY VEHICLE IS AN 2007 DODGE RAM 2500 4X4. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE NUMOROUS FRONT END SUSPENSION AND STEERING COMPONENTS,3 STEERING GEAR BOXES,ALL FRONT END STEERING PARTS,PITMAN ARM, ALL STEERING COMPONENTS TWICE AND BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT AXLE SHAFT UJOINTS 7 TIMES TOTAL AND I HAVE TO DO THEM AGAIN.THE ENTIRE STEERING NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AGAIN AND I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF SELLING TRUCK DO TO IT IS A MONEY PIT SINCE DAY 1 WHEN I PURCHASED IT BRAND NEW FROM BROOKFIELD MOTORS.THIS TRUCK IS THE 4TH DOGE I PURCHASED NEW AND I AM LOOSING FAITH IN DODGE.MY TRUCK IS ALL STOCK,NO MODIFICATIONS AND HAVE BEEN TOLD BY DEALERS THAT MY TRUCK WAS AN EARLY PRODUCTION MODEL,SO I ENDED UP WITH ALL JUNK /TRIAL PARTS.I KNOW THERE IS A UPDATED GEAR BOX WHICH I CANNOT AFFORD AND UPGRADES TO ALL OTHER COMPONENTS I CANNOT AFFORD.PLEASE IF YOU CAN HELP ME OUT IN ANY WAY,IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED.I CANNOT TAKE A RISK OF EVEN SELLING THIS VEHICLE BECAUSE IT IS JUST NOT SAFE.I HAVE BEEN STRANDED ON THE ROADS 3 TIMES DUE TO STEERING ISSUES AND OTHER TIMES I CAUGHT IT BEFORE GETTING TOWED.THE FRONT END IS GARBAGE,PLEASE HELP IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE.I HAVE RECIEPTS BUT CAN NOT SEND THEM ON COMPUTER DUE TO I AM NOT COMPUTER SAVY

ALL OF A SUDDEN MY BRAKES FAILED COULD NOT STEER CORRECTLY AND I LOST CONTROL OF THE TRUCK SLAMMING INTO AN ONCOMING VEHICLE. IT FELT LIKE I WAS STEERING TO GO STRAIGHT AND THE STEERING WHEEL JUST TURNED ON ITS OWN. NOW I HAVE A $2800 BILL TO PAY THE BODY SHOP AND I NEED TO GET MY STEERING BOX REPLACED. I WOULD LIKE HELP WITH THAT. AND MOST IMPORTANT I NEED THESE RECALLS DONE ONCE I GET MY TRUCK OUT OF THE BODY SHOP. MY ONLY REQUEST IS THAT WHEN I BRING IT IN TO THE DEALER I WOULD LIKE THEM TO ALSO FIX MY STEERING BOX AT NO CHARGE.
DRIVING ON UNFAMILIAR RURAL DIRT ROAD AT NIGHT, SWITCHED TO HIGH BEAM TO SEE UPCOMING INTERSECTION AND ALL HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT. STUNNED, I LOST SEVERAL CRITICAL SECONDS BEFORE I RESTORED THE LOW BEAMS AND LOCKED UP THE BRAKES. TOO LATE. UNABLE TO TURN SAFELY, I LEFT ROAD, WENT DOWN EMBANKMENT THROUGH FENCE BEFORE STOPPING IN PASTURE. SUBSTANTIAL FRONT END AND BODY DAMAGE TO TRUCK.
MY SON ([XXX]) WAS DRIVING ALONG KING COLLEGE ROAD, BRISTOL,TENNESSEE AT ABOUT 8:55PM ON DECEMBER 4, 2014 MY VEHICLE BECAME UNSTEERABLE WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD. THE LEFT FRONT TIRE ROD APPARENTLY BROKE AND HE WAS UNABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE. PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT HE HAD TAKEN IT TO A LOCAL DODGE DEALER AND THEY SAID IT WAS NOT ON THE RECALL LIST. COME TO FIND OUT IT APPEARS SOMEONE ERRONEOUSLY LISTED THE VEHICLE IN THE SYSTEM AS BEING REPAIRED AND IT WAS NEVER REPAIRED. I BELIEVE SOMEONE LISTED IT SO CHRYSLER WOULD NOT HAVE TO REPAIR MY VEHICLE AND IT COULD HAVE COST MY SON'S LIFE WHEN THE TIRE ROD BROKE. I AM REQUESTING THAT AN INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED TO SEE WHO ERRONEOUSLY LISTED THE VEHICLE AS BEING REPAIRED. I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE IN THE MAIL AND TOOK MY TRUCK TO THE DEALER WHO PRECEDED TO TELL ME THAT IT DID NOT APPLY TO MY TRUCK , SO WHEN MY 16 YEAR LEFT THE DEALERSHIP 2 DAYS LATER SHE WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND IT STARTED SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY AND SHE HEARD A SNAP AND LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING AND HIT A GUARDRAIL AND WRECKED, IF NOT FOR THE GUARDRAIL SHE WOULD HAVE WENT DOWN A SIX FT EMBANKMENT AND BEEN INJURED. SHE HAD JUST DRIVEN ON THE INTERSTATE AND IF SHE HAD BEEN ON IT SHE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE DIED. I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE DEALER PUTTING MY DAUGHTER IN THIS KIND OF DANGER, WHEN I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT THIS THEY SAID WELL, WE ARE ONLY SENT 1 EVERY 7 DAYS AND THEY ARE 30 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF YOU. THIS EXCUSE IS UNACCEPTABLE AND MY CHILD COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. I HAD TO PAY 933.00 FOR REPAIRS AND I EXPECT TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THESE REPAIRS. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,430.
