On June 22 myself and my wife were pulling out of the Food Lion Parking Lot. As we proceeded out to the main Road the gas pedal stuck. The car kept accelerating and know matter what I did I could free the gas pedal. Because of that we hit 3 cars in the intersection. Our car literally exploded putting Myself and my wife in the hospital .My wife has had 3 surgeries for a broken pelvis.She is still in serious condition.Myself I suffered 3 broken ribs and a lacerated liver. Ford should be held accountable for our terrible pain and suffering.?

MOM AND I WAS DRIVING A RENTAL. 2010 FORD FOCUS. EARLIER THAT DAY SHE WAS DRIVING THE CAR AN COMPLAINED IT WAS WOBBLING WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL STILL. FOR ME, AT FIRST WHEN I WAS DRIVING I THOUGHT IT WAS THE WIND MAKING THE CAR WOBBLE, BUT AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND NOTICE MY BACK RIGHT TIRE ROTATION WAS VERY UNUSUAL (IT JUST DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT) SO I SLOW DOWN TO FEEL THE SAME REACTION. WHEN I DID MY CAR FISHTAILED INTO THE MEDIAN WALL OF THE HIGHWAY (SMASHING IN THE RIGHT SIDE OR DRIVER SIDE OF THE CAR) (WHEN HITTING THE WALL , THE BREAKS AND STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP) AND BOUNCED ME ACROSS TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY HITTING THE METAL RAIL THAT HELP ME STOP ROLLING, ENDED UP WITH MINOR INJURIES, SERIOUS HEADACHES, AND A SO CALLED TICKET OF $130 FAILURE TO CONTROL MY VEHICLE I DON'T KNOW IF FORD FOCUS FUNCTION THAT WAY, BUT I WILL NEVER ADVISE ANYONE TO EVER GET A FORD! *TR

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the RMP increased and revved causing the vehicle to crash into an unoccupied vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. No injuries were sustained. The contact stated there was a minor scratch on the front of her vehicle. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened, and advised the contact to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.

The contacts mother owns a 2010 Ford Focus. The contact stated while her mother attempted to park, the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle violently accelerated on its own without warning. As a result, the contact crashed into a satellite pole. The air bags did not deploy. There were no injuries reported. A police report was not filed. The driver was able to reverse the vehicle and park into the parking spot, however the contact stated the failure reoccurred sporadically several times after the crash. The driver took the vehicle to a local dealer to have the vehicle inspected, however the dealer was not able to duplicate the failure. A few months later and the failure reoccurred again and the driver took the vehicle back to the dealer where the dealer repaired and replaced the throttle body control module on the vehicle, but the failure persisted after the repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IN THE SNOW OR RAIN . THE CAR CAUSED ME TO HAVE A ACCIDENT THAT COST MY INSURANCE COMPANY OVER 2000 TO REPAIR DUE TO THE SWAYING OF SPEEDS OVER 65 MPH . I HAVE A HORRIBLE THUMPING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END SUSPENSION AREA WHICH I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE I HAD BAD TIRES SO REPLACED TO BAD THUMPING SO REPLACED WHEELS STILL BAD AND WHEEL BEARINGS AND STILL BAD THUMPING IDK WHAT TO DO THIS IS SO ANNOYING I WANT FORD TO PAY FOR ALL OF THIS AND TO RECALL THESE CARS THEY ARE VERY DANGEROUS

THIS VEHICLE IS PART OF THE NATIONAL FLEET OWNED BY THE US POSTAL SERVICE. THE DRIVER WAS TRYING TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AT AN INTERSECTION. THE ENGINE BEGAN REVVING AS THE DRIVER WAS APPLYING THE BRAKES. THE ADDITIONAL ACCELERATION MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP CAUSING THE FOCUS TO COLLIDE INTO THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE STOPPED AHEAD.
