WHILE DRIVING, VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT, VEHICLE STRUCK ANOTHER VEHICLE CAUSING SECOND VEHICLE TO LOSE CONTROL AND OVERTURN IN THE INSIDE MEDIAL, THERE WERE 5 INJURIES AND 2 FATALITIES, NO SPECIFIC TIRE INFORMATION GIVEN, GEORGIA UNIFORM MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT REPORT. *YH
POOR TRACTION ON WET PAVEMENT, CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL/ACCIDENT/INJURIES/FATALITY.
ON FEB. 17, 2004 I WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND BY A KIA SPORTAGE THAT WAS TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH. I WAS STOPPED BEHIND A MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE AT THE TIME. WHEN I WAS STRUCK IT THRUST MY VEHICLE INTO THE REAR OF THE ECLIPSE. MY AIRBAGS IN MY VEHICLE NEVER DEPLOYED. I AM POSITIVE THAT THE FORCE OF THE COLLISION WAS SUFFICIENT ENOUGH TO CAUSE MINE TO DEPLOY. MY 2 CHILDREN, AS WELL AS MYSELF RECEIVED WHIPLASH AND SHOULDER/NECK INJURIES. I FEEL THAT WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO COME OUT OF THIS UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT ALIVE. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT EXACTLY WHY THEY DID NOT DEPLOY. WHO CAN WE CONTACT ABOUT RETRIEVING THE INFORMATION FROM THE BLACK BOX? WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN ADVISED TO SECURE THE VEHICLE UNTIL IT CAN BE INVESTIGATED. WE WILL ALSO PHOTOGRAPH THE OTHER 2 VEHICLES INVOLVED, AS THIS MAY MAKE IT EASIER TO INVESTIGATE. WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT ALL 3 VEHICLES HAVE BEEN TOTALED. *JB
TRAVELING AT 30 MPH HIT CAR THAT WENT THROUGH A RED LIGHT. BOTH AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE PASSENGER AIR BAG BROKE TWO FINGERS (PINKY AND RING), (THE PINKY FINGER IS BROKEN IN MULTIPLE PLACES) WRIST, BROKEN LIP, BURN TO THE FACE OF PASSENGER, ABRASION TO ARM AND CHEST. THE DRIVER AIRBAG ASIDE FROM INFLATING/EXPLODING, BROKE INUNDATING THE CAR WITH BLUE SMOG THAT ALMOST CHOCKED ME. ASIDE FROM THAT NOTHING HAPPENED TO ME. *NLM
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR AT A SPEED OF 35 MPH OR FASTER, MY RIGHT FRONT STARTS TO PULL TO THE RIGHT, IT HAS CAUSED ME TO HAVE A CRASH, NEVER RECEIVED THE RECALL LETTER. I WAS NOT CONTACTED BY ANY DEALER FOR THE OTHER RECALLS, # 95V138000 AND #95E006002. HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING MY CAR CHECKED OUT WITHOUT BEING CHARGED. PLEASE SEND ME INFORMATION. THANK YOU,
VEHICLE INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION AT 25-30MPH. UPON IMPACT , AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, RESULTING IN MINOR INJURIES. MANUFACTURER WILL BE NOTIFIED. *AK
ON 9/12/95 WHILE DRIVING A RENTED HERTZ VEHICLE, A 1995 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE IN ORLANDO FLORIDA, WE WERE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. THE FORD VEHICLE WE WERE DRIVING MADE A POPPING SOUND AND SUDDENDLY WITHOUT NOTICE THE CAR SWERVED OUT OF CONTROL INTO A DITCH. WE HIT A LIGHT POLE AND SEVERLY DAMAGED PROPERTY. THE CAR WAS TOTALED AND MY HUSBAND WAS HURT. I WAS IN SHOCK BUT WAS NEVER PREPARED FOR THE AFTERMATH. NO ONE WANTED TO HEAR THAT THE TIRE BLEW APART. THEY CLAIMED THE ACCIDENT WAS DUE TO SPEED AND IT LOST CONTROL. THE REAR TIRE MUST OF BLOWN AFTER THE IMPACT. I FOUGHT WITH HERTZ FOR DAMAGES AND RENTAL COSTS BUT IN THE END I HAD TO PAY. THEY CLAIMED THEY INVESTIGATED THE MATTER AND FOUND NO FAULTY TIRES. HOWEVER TO THIS DAY I SWEAR THAT THE ACCIDENT WAS DUE TO FAULTY TIRES. SINCE THE RECALL I HAVE BECOME AWARE OF THIS AND WOULD LIKE TO FURTHER PURSUE THE MATTER. I HAVE ALL TYPES OF SUPPORTIVE DOCUMENTATION ATTACHED WHICH MAY HELP YOU FOLLOW THROUGH.I AM GRATEFUL THAT THERE WERE NO FATALITIE

VEHICLE WAS STOPPED WHEN ANOTHER VEHICLE REARENDED MUSTANG. THEN MUSTANG REARENDED ANOTHER VEHICLE. DRIVER WAS SLUNG FORWARD. SEAT BELT FAILED TO HOLD DRIVER. AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY UPON IMPACT. SUFFERED WHIPLASH OF NECK & SPINE. *AK
SLIGHTLY APPLIED BRAKES, DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED/BURST, AIRBAG SUBSTANCE BLINDED DRIVER, CAUSING ACCIDENT, PASSENGER AIRBAG DEPLOYED AFTER ACCIDENT. *AK
UPON IMPACT, DURING REAR END COLLISION AT APPROX. 40MPH, DRIVERS SEATBACK REST BROKE AND COLLAPSED REARWARD, RESULTING IN TOTAL LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL. *AK
DUE TO TRANSMISSION PROBLEM THE GEARS WOULD SLIP OUT OF GEAR, WHEN THE AIR WAS ON WOULD NOT GO OVER 55MPH.THE AIRBAG WAS LEAKING GAS AND SMOKING BAD. TT

CONSUMER WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY WENT TO APPLY THE BRAKES FAILED HAVE ABS ANTI-LOCK BRAKE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG DEPLOYED AND CAUSED THE CONSUMER HAND TO BREAK.
