i was driving on a highway and experienced a total failure of my electrical system which completely shut down with in 15 seconds i lost control of the car as i could not even move the wheel, subsequently T-boned by another car iwhich could not stop fast enough suffering total loss of my car of note prior to the accident (Sunday AM) on friday I had a battery replaced @ Firestone, see reciept attached that was the last repair for the care
The contact owned a 2015 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while her son was driving approximately 30 MPH, as he tried to slow while following the road steering to the left, the vehicle's brakes failed. The vehicle left the roadway spun several times and crashed into a tree. The roadway surface was not dry, the contact's son said that the conditions had been misty. The driver's side door was crushed and the entire side panel to the rear wheel was crushed by the impact. The driver's side window, the rear windshield, and the passenger side window were shattered. The contact stated that additionally large branches from the tree had fallen off at impact and damaged the hood and trunk of the vehicle. The driver's side air bag and passenger side air bag, and driver's front air bag had deployed. The contact's son had sustained bruising and abrasions to the left side of his neck and forehead, he had bruising and abrasions to his shins and knees. The son also had abrasions to both his hands on the tops the hands. The contact stated that only an EMT squad had arrived and treated the son. The son had not been transported to the Emergency Room, the police were not on the scene. The vehicle had been towed to an impound lot and the contact's insurance provider declared the vehicle a total loss. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 FORD MUSTANG. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY DURING A CRASH. DURING THE CRASH THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE UPPER TORSO. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED INTO A CEMENT UTILITY POOL. DURING THE CRASH THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED BUT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE MESSAGE "AIR BAGS DEPLOYED" HAD DISPLAYED IN THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE UPPER TORSO AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AWAY AND DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS. NO POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED BY A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE SEAT BELT FAILED ALSO FAILED TO RETRACT AT THE TIME OF IMPACT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT SHE REQUESTED THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO INVESTIGATE THE FAILURE OF THE AIR BAGS HOWEVER, THE ADVISED HER TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER AS THE AIR BAGS FAILURE WERE ALREADY UNDER INVESTIGATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 106,000.
I WAS LIKE I WAS DREAMING WHEN AFTER I WAS WOKE UP IN THE HOSPITAL AND THERE WAS A LOT OF TIME MISSING YOU KNOW I CAN REMEMBER AT THE EVERY LITTLE THING I WAS MISSING A LOT OF TIME BEFORE WE WENT OUT AND THE WRECK YOU KNOW RIGHT AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS OF BEING CONSCIOUS AND NEVER SHOULD HAVE WRECKED YOU KNOW AND IT JUST IT JUST LET NOTHING MAKING NO SENSE AND THEN IT ALL COME CLEAR I WAS KNOCKED OUT BEFORE THE WRECK AN EXAMPLE OF A HOW I DON'T KNOW WHY I DON'T KNOW ALL I KNOW IS I WAS KNOCKED OUT A COUPLE OF THOUSANDS OF A SECOND BEFORE THE RED CUZ I MISSED YOU TOO MUCH OF IT
WE WERE STOPPED IN FAST LANE IN FREEWAY TRAFFIC, CAR IN CENTER LANE HIT BACK PASSENGER SIDE, PUSHING US INTO TAHOE IN FRONT OF US. DRIVER THAT HIT US WAS GOING 30-35 MPH ON IMPACT. ONLY THE DRIVERS LEG AIRBAG WENT OFF, PASSENGER AIRBAG POPPED COVER OFF ON RIGHT SIDE AND GOT STUCK SO DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVERS FRONT STEERING WHEEL AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. DRIVER INJURED WITH SEVERE BRUISING. BACK WINDSHIELD SHATTERED IN TINY PIECES ACROSS ENTIRE INSIDE OF CAR. I HAVE CONFIRMED THIS CAR DID NOT HAVE ANY AIRBAG RECALLS ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
TAKATA RECALL. I WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT ON THE FREEWAY. A TRAILER TRUCK TURNED INTO MY DRIVER SIDE REAR WHEEL DESTROYING IT AND PUSHING ME TOWARDS THE FRONT OF HIS TRUCK. TO PREVENT ENDING UP IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK I TURNED THE WHEEL TO MY RIGHT CAUSING ME TO CRASH INTO A CONSTRUCTION BARRIER AT 30MPH. MY FRONT RIGHT TIRE TOOK ALL THE IMPACT CAUSING MY CAR TO GO UP ABOUT 3-4 FEET AND SLAMMING DOWN HARD. MY AIRBAGS NEVER DEPLOYED.
MY 2015 MUSTANG WAS TOTALED ON MARCH 11 2018 AND NONE OF THE AIRBAGS CAME OUT AND ON INSPECTION THE STATE TROOPER SAID MY SEAT BEAT MISFIRED . WHEN I CONTACTED THE FORD CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER THE GUY HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME WHAT DID I WANT HIM TO DO ABOUT IT!!!! I NEVER RECEIVED A RECALL AT ALL FROM ANYONE!!!! I THEN ASK HIM TO HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME I HAVE AS TO YET NOT RECEIVED ONE PHONE CALL... THIS IS JUST NOT THE KIND OF RESPONSE THAT WILL CONTINUE TO SELL FORD MUSTANG IF I CAN'T BE SAFE OR MY FAMILY BE SAFE WHAT WOULD MAKE ME WANT TO OWN ANOTHER ONE OR EVEN TELL EVERYONE MY EXPERIENCE WITH MUSTANG AND I HAVE OWNED MANY OF THEM I LOVED MUSTANGS BUT THIS REALLY CHANGES MY VIEW OF FORD AND MUSTANGS!!!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2015 FORD MUSTANG. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE HYDROPLANED AND CRASHED INTO A MILE MARKER SIGN. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY AND THE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RESTRAIN THE DRIVER CORRECTLY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED NECK AND BACK INJURIES, WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD AND DEEMED DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
2015 MUSTANG 2.3 LITER. PURCHASED BRAND NEW FROM FAIRFIELD FORD IN CALIFORNIA. MUSTANG REAR ENDED 2014 PRIUS AT HIGHWAY SPEED. SEVERE ACCIDENT. STEERING WHEEL AIRBAG FAILED TO INFLATE IN MUSTANG. LOWER AIRBAG IN DRIVER FOOTWELL INFLATED ONLY. DRIVER SEATBELT RETRACTOR IS NOT LOCKED POTENTIALLY SHOULD BE IMMOBILIZED. DRIVER OF MUSTANG SUFFERED 2 BROKEN RIBS, 2 CRACKED RIBS, AND A CRACKED STERNUM. HER FACE ALSO STRUCK THE STEERING WHEEL AND CAUSED HER TO BECOME UNCONSCIOUS FOR A LITTLE WHILE . BOTH VEHICLES TOWED FROM SCENE, MUSTANG DRIVER DID NOT REALIZE HER INJURIES AND WENT TO THE HOSPITAL THE FOLLOWING DAY. COMPLAINTS OF CHEST PAIN, WHICH IS WHEN X-RAYS WERE TAKEN AND THE BODILY INJURIES WERE DETERMINED.
FORD MUSTANG 2015 IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE A TRUNK THAT DOES NOT PROTECT INSIDE BECAUSE NO EDGE TO EDGE SUPPORT. MY TRUNK EDGE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OR WHEN FACING THE TRUNK (LEFT SIDE) IS SO MALALIGNED AS TO MAKE ME THINK EITHER THE CAR IS TWERKED OR THE FRAME IS....THIS CREATES UNSTABLE DRIVING CONDITIONS.FORD REPLACED MY ORIGINAL TRUNK WITH THERE VERSION OF A FITTED TRUNK.

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that the back over prevention camera intermittently failed to operate as needed while the vehicle was shifted into reverse(R). The contact stated that the camera image either displayed a blank image or the camera displayed an inaccurate distance between objects. As a result, the contact stated that while reversing into the driveway at approximately 5 MPH, the rearview camera displayed an inaccurate image and the distance between the vehicle and another vehicle parked in the driveway. As a result of the discrepancy, the contact struck the parked vehicle, which damaged the rear quarter panel of his vehicle but there was no damage to the other vehicle. Due to the low impact of the crash, the contact was not injured and an air bag did not deploy. There was no Police report filed. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V572000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The local dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
In October 2021 I attended my sisters funeral in Dallas Tx while in the parking lot I went to back up and backed into my Sons vehicle. No insurance claim was filed but I did pay out of pocket for the damage which was 2800.00. At the time I was unaware of the safety recall. My car still has no reverse camera clock or temperature reading and tpms system is failing as well. Last October I took the car to Johnston Ford in New Boston Texas. They kept the car for two and a half hours and fixed nothing. I repeatedly call back and always say they will return my call but to no avail. Please help I am lost without my reverse camera
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Mustang, The contact stated while the vehicle was parked in her driveway when the vehicle rolled forward and impacted her second vehicle. The contact stated no one was injured or sought medication. No police report was filed on the incident. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer and was informed her VIN was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V011000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 116,000.
The rear backup camera will periodically fail and not show what is behind the vehicle while backing up. The backup camera monitor will receive a message that states contact the dealer for repair. This is similar to the same recall notice I received for my 2020 Ford Mustang GT, yet I have never received notification of a recall for the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. I reported this same issue to my Ford Dealer when I purchased my 2020 Ford Mustang GT. The lack of a back camera resulted in a collision in a parking lot while driving the 2015 Ford Mustang GT because the other driver was out of my line of sight while I was backing out of a parking space, resulting in a collision.
THE REARVIEW CAMERA WILL INTERMITTENTLY DISPLAY A BLANK OR DISTORTED IMAGE. WHEN PLACING THE CAR IN REVERSE THE CAMERA WILL INTERMITTENTLY DISPLAY A BLANK SCREEN OR DISTORTED IMAGE WHILE REVERSING THE VEHICLE. THIS REDUCES THE DRIVER'S VIEW OF WHAT IS BEHIND THE VEHICLE, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. THIS HAPPENS WHEN BOTH STATIONARY AND IN MOTION. THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE THAT MY 2020 FORD MUSTANG GT VIN [XXX] HAS JUST RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR. THE CAMERA BEGAN TO FAIL THE SUMMER OF 2020. BACK UP CAMERA REPEATEDLY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY CAUSING ME TO BACK UP INTO A POST, COSTING $1200 IN DAMAGES ELECTRICAL WIRES GOING TO TRUNK LID ARE INCREDIBLY THIN AND FLIMSY. THIS EFFECTS THE BACK UP CAMERA, TRUNK RELEASE, TRUNK LIGHT, ETC.; ALL OF WHICH HAVE FAILED AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER. REPAIRED WIRING TWICE BUT THEY ARE SO FRAIL, THEY CONTINUE TO SNAP AND CAUSE MALFUNCTION THROUGHOUT THE CAR.

I HAVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION. VEHICLE WAS PARKED WITH THE EMERGENCY PARKING BRAKE FULLY ENGAGED. VEHICLE ROLLED DOWNHILL AND CRASHED INTO A FENCE. CONTACTED DEALER AND THEY SAID VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED BY ANY RECALL.
