TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE LEFT WHEN THE CONTACT TURNED THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE RIGHT. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO A FIELD AND CAUGHT FIRE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE BACK AND RIGHT LEG THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,000.
The contact owned a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated when she was reversing (R) out of the parking space, when she straightened the vehicle and shifted to drive (D) the vehicle independently accelerated. The contact stated that the vehicle crossed over several parking lot barriers and crashed into the front end of a parked vehicle. The contact stated that the acceleration happened so fast she was not able to depress the brake pedal and she did not notice how fast she was moving. It was unknown if any lights illuminated. The vehicle crashed into the front end of the parked vehicle. The contact's driver's side hood and grill were crushed, and her driver's side wheels well and fender were also crushed and damaged. The driver's side door was badly damaged and could not be opened. The contact was transported by ambulance to a hospital. She said she was treated for a bruise on her left knee, she had no other injuries. The parked vehicle was unoccupied. The police were on the scene but did not file a report. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot and the contact stated that her insurance company later called to advise her that the vehicle was a total loss. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 104,000.
i got into a car crash that completely crushed my vehicle and the airbags didn’t deploy at all. serious injuries were sustained
I was driving on the highway and all of a sudden my car wanted me to shift into P to park while i was still in drive. My vehicle was hit passenger side as well in a hit and run incident. I pulled over and waited awhile and called the police then brought my vehicle home because it was not totaled. I tried to get coverage from my GEICO insurance but they were unable to help. Then February i was in a rear end collision from another gentleman on the way home from work. My vehicle was being repaired for a month and some change until i got it back. At first I thought it was the battery or alternator going bad, but a diagnostic test showed normal for both. I’ve tried different gas thinking it could be bad gasoline. When the vehicle shuts down it’s difficult to get it to restart. Now it is saying service 4WD which i believe is something with the transfer case because its not the axels or differentials which I had replaced from Jeff D Ambrosia. Looking for assistance to get my vehicle driving safe and possible reimbursement or help, I have all my receipts from what has been done to my vehicle since I first bought it in 06/20/20 For my birthday present. There is a lot of more information that i want an advisor or assistance to know as far as what i have already paid out of my own pocket with dates and receipts (battery, axels ,rear diffs , alternator , etc) and try to diagnose it from there. I know about the mechanisms myself and my buddy who is an authorized mechanic. I am sure that after hearing all the difficulties and safety issues i have had i may be able to get some serious help and even possibly with my right side of my vehicle ! Thanks

DRIVING IN THE FREEWAY AND HAVE AN ACCIDENT DUE TO THE MALFUNCTIONING FRONT COLLISION WARNING AND THE NOT WORKING SENSORS
I WAS TRAVELING ON ROUTE 18 A 55 MPH ROAD YESTERDAY AND HIT SOME ICE OR CENTER RUMBLE STRIPS IN THE ROAD. MY CAR WENT INTO A LARGE DITCH. THE FRONT END OF MY CAR IS SEVERELY DAMAGED. THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. I FIND THIS VERY DISTURBING. DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE!!
MY VEHICLE WAS ENGAGED IN ACTIVE USE OF CRUISE CONTROL, I HAD BRAND NEW TIRES, AND SOMETHING HAPPENED TO THE VEHICLE TO WHERE IT CAUSED AN UNSAFE PUSH OF ACCELERATION AND THE CAR LOST TRACTION ON THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE ENDED UP ROLLING 125 FEET OFF A SMALL DROP INTO A RIVER. NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED DESPITE HAVING 13 POINTS OF IMPACT. I HAD TO EXTRICATE MYSELF FROM THE SUBMERGING VEHICLE. I THE ROADS WERE PAVED WITH GRAVEL ON EITHER SIDE. I WAS TRAVELING AT 55MPH, AND FOLLOWING THE CURVE OF THE ROAD. *DT*JB

IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE SHIFTER WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE MESSAGES "SHIFT TO PARK" AND "DESIRED GEAR" WERE DISPLAYED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (ROCKWALL CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM, 970 E INTERSTATE 30, ROCKWALL, TX 75087, (469) 698-2100) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SHIFTING PAD AND BATTERY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. MY DAUGHTER WAS STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT AND A CAR HIT THE TRUCK BEHIND HER AND PUSHED IT INTO HER AND PUSHED HER INTO THE CAR IN FRONT OF HER. SHE SEEN THE CAR COMING AND NOT STOPPING SO SHE HIT THE BRAKES HARD, SO SHE DIDN'T HIT THE CAR IN FRONT OF HER HARD. THE AIR BAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY AND SHE HIT HER HEAD AND SUSTAINED A VERY BAD CONCUSSION AND LOST THE HEARING IN HER LEFT EAR. SHE HIT HER HEAD SO HARD IT HAS A WHITE MATTER SPOT ON HER BRAIN.
OUR TEENAGE BOYS WERE TRAVELING AT A SAFE SPEED, DID NOT HIT A POTHOLE OR OTHER OBJECT, AND DID NOT SWERVE WHEN THE RIGHT FRONT AXLE SNAPPED. THIS DIRECTED THEM INTO A TELEPHONE POLE AND THEN THEY PROCEEDED TO SKID APPROXIMATELY SIXTY FEET DOWN A ROAD. THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED ON A WELL PAVED ROAD IN THE POCONO MOUNTAINS, PA. ALTHOUGH A WINDING ROAD THE AXLE SNAPPED DURING A STRAIGHT PORTION.
