MY DAUGHTER WAS KILLED IN A 2011 FORD FUSION WHEN SHE HIT A TREE THE POLICE ARE SAYING SHE FELL ASLEEP I DON'T BELIEVE THAT MY DAUGHTER'S WORKED NIGHT SHIFT FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS AND THIS WAS HER DAILY SCHEDULE SHE WAS THE PERFECT DRIVER OF THE FAMILY TO DRIVE 17 HOURS STRAIGHT SHE DID ALL THAT ROAD TRIPS I BELIEVE SHE TRIED AVOID A DEER AND THEN LOST CONTROL OF HER VEHICLE THIS WAS A REALLY HORRIFIC CRASH EVERYTHING THAT WAS ON THE FRONT AND WENT IN TO THE CAR INCLUDING THE MOTOR THE FRONT TIRE THE BUMPERS EVERYTHING THE DRIVER SEAT WAS PUSHED ALL WAY BACK TO THE REAR SEAT I HOPE THIS CAR COULD BE INVESTIGATED I BELIEVE MY DAUGHTER LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING AND THAT'S WHY SHE CRASHED. The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while reversing at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle experienced unintended high-speed acceleration and struck a parked vehicle. The brake pedal was depressed but failed to stop the vehicle immediately. The vehicle then crashed into a residence. The air bags did not deploy. The contact suffered injuries to her face, back of the head, and neck; however, medical attention was not received. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the body shop but was not yet deemed totaled by the insurance company. The contact stated that the vehicle had been taken to the dealer twice before the crash; however, the cause of failure was not found and the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was opened. The manufacturer advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 90,000.

Advance Trac light abs traction control light came on next thing I know car goes out of control and now my car is totaled total loss smashed right into side of the road brakes failed steering failed and all this popped up moments before and then q truck ran into me my mom went to hospital but is ok I'm fine
The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road and crashed into a ditch. During the crash, the front end of the vehicle was severely damaged causing both the driver side and passenger side airbags to deploy. The contact indicated that the airbags did not immediately deploy and both occupants had sustained concussions when the driver made contact with the steering wheel and the passenger made contact with the dashboard. The driver also sustained a right leg injury. Both received medical attention where mediation was provided. A police report was taken at the scene and the vehicle was towed away. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the incident. The failure mileage was 200,000.
AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY IN 45 MPH FRONT END T-BONE CRASH TO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE FORD FUSION. THE 2011 FORD FUSION WAS PREVIOUS REPAIRED FOR THE TAKATA AIR BAG FAULT BUT FAILED TO DEPLOY CAUSING MY WIFE NERVE DAMAGE AND ADDITIONAL INJURES THAT ARE STILL BEING EVALUATED. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE FAULT AS I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS REPORTS / COMPLAINTS FROM OTHERS WITH THIS SAME ISSUE / THE AIR BAGS STILL NOT DEPLOYING AFTER THE FIX.. THANK YOU*DT*JB *TR
WE WERE STATIONARY AT A RED LIGHT AT A 4-WAY INTERSECTION. A CAR FROM THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION (COMING TOWARDS US) RAN THE RED LIGHT AND HIT US HEAD-ON DOING APPROX. 50 MPH. THE PASSENGER AIRBAG IN OUR CAR DID NOT DEPLOY DURING THE HEAD-ON COLLISION. THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG DID DEPLOY. I WAS IN THE PASSENGER'S SEAT AND SUFFERED NUMEROUS INJURIES DUE TO THE AIRBAG NOT DEPLOYING.

SONORA FORD (LOCATED AT 13254 MONO WAY, SONORA, CA 95370, 209-532-5593) INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V340000 (STEERING). THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND VERIFIED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,700.
THIS CAR HAS BEEN CARRIED IN TWICE FOR LOSING POWER STEERING. IT HAPPENED AGAIN ON 09/28/19 WHERE AN ACCIDENT WAS INVOLVED. POWER STEERING WAS LOST WHILE MAKING A LEFT HAND TURN CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. COULD NOT PULL CODES OFF COMPUTER AS POWER WAS LOST BY ACCIDENT.NO AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED NOR DID SEAT BELT ENGAGE
I WAS DRIVING IN A 45 MILE LANE, MY ELECTRIC POWER STEERING HOPPED OFF AND POWER STEERING SERVICE NOW CAME ON. MY CAR HIT THE CURB AND LANDED IN SOMEONE YARD. VERY TERRIFYING. I CONTACTED FORD AND THEY SAID THEY WILL NOT REPLACE IT. BECAUSE I DON’T MEET THE GUIDELINES FOR THE RECALL. MY CAR IS OVER 150,000 MILES. AND I WILL HAVE TO PAY. I FELT LIKE THIS IS NOT OKAY I ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR 2 MONTHS AND THE OWNER NEVER TOOK IT IN WHEN IT WAS UNDER 150,000 MILES. IF IT’S ON RECALL IT SHOULDN’T HAVE A TIME FRAME TO GET IT FIX. IF THEY MESSED UP ON THEIR END FIX IT. NOW THEY ASKING ME TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO FIX ON THEIR BEHAVE.
I WAS IN A SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT FEBRUARY 23, 2015 WHERE I SLID OFF AN ICY BACK ROAD CAUSING SIGNIFICANT FRONT END DAMAGE WHICH WAS REPAIRED AT MILNES FORD IN LAPEER, MI. DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE THE AIRBAGS SHOULD HAVE DEPLOYED BUT THEY NEVER DID. I NOW HAVE A BULGED DISK IN MY NECK AND ANOTHER IN MY LUMBAR SPINE. A LATER COMPUTER SCAN FOR A SEPARATE ISSUE INDICATED THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AS THEY SHOULD HAVE. WHEN THE ORIGINAL REPAIRS WERE DONE, THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT CHECK AND NEVER ADDRESSED THE FAILURE TO DEPLOY. THE ONLY TOWING THAT WAS DONE WAS TO GET MY VEHICLE OUT OF A DITCH.

I TOOK MY 2011 FORD FUSION TO THE FORD DEALERSHIP IN HARLINGEN TX. THEY VERIFIED THE VEHICLE WAS UP FOR RECALL SINCE IT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MECHANICS TOOK THE CAR IN AND REPAIRED THE CAR AFTER 7 DAYS OF DROPPING IT OFF. ON DAY 7 THEY CALLED ME THAT IT NEEDED A TIE ROD WHICH I PURCHASED AND DELIVERED FIRST HAND. 2 HOURS LATER THEY CALLED ME THAT I HAD TO PAY $1,300 BECAUSE THE CAR WAS NOT UP FOR RECALL AND THAT IF I DIDN'T PAY THEY WOULD BE PUTTING MY BROKEN PART BACK ON AND RELEASING THE CAR TO ME. I WENT ON TO COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGER AND THEY MANAGED TO TAKE $500 OUT FOR THE REPAIRS THEY HAVE DONE THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE UP FOR RECALL. I WAITED 7 DAYS TO FIND OUT I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE. RECALL NUMBER 15NO1 AND 15NO2. I HAVE RECITE AND VIDEO OF THE CONFRONTATION. I HAD ALREADY WRECKED THE CAR DUE TO THE STEERING ISSUES. I ALSO REPAIRED THE DAMAGED AFTER THE ACCIDENT TO LATER FIND OUT IT WAS UP FOR RECALL!
SERVICE TRAC OFF POWER STEERING OFF RECALL NUMBER 15 S 18 MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL EVEN THOUGH THIS IS THE PROBLEM I AM CURRENTLY HAVING WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF IT ON THE 25TH OF OCTOBER 2017

AFTER MANY FAILED TEMPS FROM FORD FOR MY BODY THROTTLE ISSUES & FORDS DEALER REFUSAL TO REPLACE THE THROTTLE BODY, BC THE CODE ISN'T PRESENT WHEN THEY HOOK UP THEY'RE DEVICE TO IT(FORD RULES). EVEN THOUGH IS KNOWN WITH FORD THEY CODE WILL CLEAR WHEN THE CAR IS TURNED OFF OR IN MY CASE SOMETIMES SHUT OFF BY ITSELF WHEN THE WRENCH LIGHT APPEARS.06/02/15FORD DEALER DID A PCM UPDATE FOR THE T.BODY & WAS GOOD TO GO. LESS THAN A MONTH LATER ISSUES STARTED AGAIN. IT HAS HAPPENED COUNTLESS OF TIMES WITH MY BF & W.MY KIDS IN THE CAR. I CALLED DAVIDSON FORD & SPOKE TO THE MANGER WHERE HE STATED NOT TO SHUT THE CAR OFF SO THE CODE DOESNT CLEAR & I ASKED IF THE TOW GUY WOULD LEAVE THE CAR ON TO BRING IT HERE. HE GOES WELL NO! THEY WEREN'T OF HELP EVER.ON 03/07/16 HEADING HOME MY CAR WENT IN LIMP MODE & STEERING WENT STIFF. I COULDNT CONTROL THE CAR & ENDED UP HITTING A GUARD RAIL.MY CAR GOT DAMAGE & HURT MY BACK.THE OFFICER STATED I WAS LUCKY BC 20 MORE FT I WOULD OF HIT THE TELEPHONE POLE. THE TOW TRUCK GUY ALSO STATED THE CAR WASN'T SAFE TO DRIVE.THE NXT DAY MY BF CALLED FORD(WHO OPEN A CASE)& STATE FARM OUR INSUR.CO. WE WENT TO N.SIDE COLLISON WERE WE EXPLAINED THE SITUATION & RECALLS ON MY CAR.HE SAID HE WOULD TRY & TALK TO FORD TO SEE WHAT HE COULD DO. HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING & WE HAD TO DEAL WITH FORD.THIS COLLISON CENTER WAS ON A TIME FRAME & REAL PUSHY.SO I HAD THE CAR TRANSFERRED TO ALAN BUYER COLLISON CENTER WHO WORKS W. MY INSUR. & FORD. WE'VE PLAYED PHONE TAG WITH FORD CSD. THE CLAIM WAS SENT TO FORDS LEGAL GENERAL COUNCIL WHOSE SUPPOSED TO HANDLE THE CASE & HAD 15 BUSINESS TO RESPOND. THEY HAVEN'T RESPONDED OR TRY TO MAKE CONTACT WITH US!I WAS ALSO TOLD BY FORDS CSD NOT TO HAVE THE COLLISON CENTER DO ANYTHING TILL WE HEAR FROM THE LEGAL COUNSEL. MY CAR HAS BEEN AT THE C.C 62+DAYS UNTOUCHED. I UPLOAD LETTER I SENT TO FORD COMPANY.

I WAS DRIVING MY 2011 FORD FUSION AND THE ABS AND POWER STEERING LIGHTS CAME ON AND THEN MY POWER STEERING WENT OUT, I WAS ON MY SRTREET WHEN THIS OCCURED BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO TURN THE CAR LEFT OR RIGHT AND I HIT THE CURB. NOW AFTER TURNING IT OFF AND ON LIKE MOST SAY ON THE FORUMS NOTHING HAS WORKED I HAVE CALLED FORD AND THEY REFUSED TO FIX THE ISSUE, THEY STATED THEY DO HAVE A RECALL OUT FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT NOT FOR MY VIN.
