THE STRUT TOWER DID NOT FAIL AT THIS TIME AND NO PERSON WAS KILLED OR INJURED, ALSO NO DAMAGE HAS OCCURED. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO REPORT THAT THE STRUT TOWER IS RUSTING THRU ON THE FRONT RIGHT SIDE OF THE MINI VAN. IF THIS SHOULD RUST COMPLETLY THROUGH WHILE THE MINI VAN IS MOVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, THE DRIVER COULD EXPERIENCE TOTAL LOSS OF CONTROL AND THAT COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE INCLUDING DEATH OF UP TO SEVEN OCCUPANTS OF THE MINIVAN. THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A COLLISION YET THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. *NLM THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG OPENED BUT WAS DEFLATED. CONSUMER RECEIVED LETTER REGARDING FAULTY AIR BAGS AFTER ACCIDENT. *TT
WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH THE CONSUMER HIT A DEER. WHEN GETTING OUT OF THE VEHICLE THE OWNER NOTICE A FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. NO REPORT OF AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. AS A RESULT THE VEHICLE BURNED TO THE GROUND. NO INJURIES REPORTED. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. *JB
ON JAN 2, 2009 I BOUGHT 4 KENDA TIRES (COOPER TIRE) FROM A DEALER IN WATSONVILLE CA. FIRST, I HAD A BLOWOUT ON ONE. IT WAS REPLACED. THEN A SECOND TIRE BLEW OUT ON THE HIGHWAY. CLOSE CALL. HIT TREE, TOTALED VEHICLE, AIRBAGS OFF ETC. I AM HOLDING THE TIRE FOR YOUR INSPECTION IF YOU WISH...I HAVE PHOTOS. *TR
ON 12/5/2002, MY HUSBAND & I WERE SITTING AT A RED LIGHT IN OUR 1996 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN WHEN WE WERE REAR-ENDED BY A FORD TAURUS. BEING LOWER TO THE GROUND THAN THE CARAVAN, THE TAURUS HIT THE DEALER INSTALLED TOW BAR CAUSING THE FRAME TO BUCKLE ABOVE BOTH AXLES & MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE BODY OF THE VAN. THE CASE FOR RECOVERY OF MEDICAL BILLS & WAGES LOST IS NOW COMING UP & WE FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE CLAIMING THAT WE WERE HIT BETWEEN 8-10 MPH. I TALKED WITH SOMEONE IN YOUR LEGAL DEPARTMENT & SHE TOLD ME TO SEE IF CHRYSLER COULD GIVE ME INFO ON THE STRENGTH OF THAT FRAME & IF NOT, TO FILE A COMPLAINT. WE HEARD BACK FROM CHRYSLER THIS MORNING & THEY SAID THAT THEY COULDN'T HELP US. *NM
DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY. AFTER THE DODGE CARAVAN SUSTAINED A HEAD ON COLLISION. 96 DODGE G. CARAVAN. *AK
FRONT CRASH AT 40 MPH, NEITHER AIRBAG DEPLOYED. CONSUMER SUFFERED MINOR INJURIES, DAMAGE TO VEHICLE UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME.*AK

CHILD SHIFTED GEAR OUT OF PARK WITHOUT ENGINE RUNNING OR APPLYING BRAKES, AND VEHICLE RAN OVER ANOTHER CHILD. *AK THE VEHICLE WENT INTO GEAR WITHOUT THE ENGINE RUNNING BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SAFETY FEATURE TO PREVENT IT. *YH
CONSUMER WAS REAR ENDED IN WHICH THE MIDDLE REAR SEAT BECAME DETACHED FROM THE FLOORBOARD, RESULTING IN THE SEAT FLYING INTO THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT. CONSUMER HAS CONTACTED THE DEALER. *AK.ET.
12 YEAR OLD CHILD RECEIVED NECK INJURY IN CRASH. AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.

PARKED VEHICLE, SHIFTED TO PARK, SHUT OFF ENGINE, REMOVED KEY FROM IGNITION, VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS, WHEEL RAN OVER LEG OF DRIVER, CRASHED INTO STREET SIGN, CAUSE UNKOWN, NOT CHECKED BY DEALER. *AK
INTERMITTENT STALLING, CAUSING ACCIDENT/INJURIES.
CONSUMER WAS IN A COLLISION AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE AUTOMATIC SEAT BELTS DID NOT RESTRAIN DRIVER WHO WAS INJURED . PLEASE DESCRIBE . *AK
PASSENGER'S AIRBAG DEPLOYED TO LEFT INSTEAD OF RECTANGULAR OR SQUARE SHAPE, DID NOT INFLATE FULLY, PASSENGER FELL FORWARD TO RIGHT OF AIRBAG, CAUSED INJURIES.*AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1996 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH DOWNHILL IN THE SNOW, THE BRAKES LOCKED AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO SLIDE. THE CONTACT RELEASED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED. SHE REAPPLIED THE BRAKES, BUT THEY LOCKED AGAIN. THE CONTACT STRUCK A TREE HEAD ON AND THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED MAJOR DAMAGE, BUT WAS STILL ABLE TO BE DRIVEN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE ERROR CODES REVEALED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN A CRASH, WHICH IS POSSIBLY WHY THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 200,552 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 200,500.
WHILE TRAVELING AT 20 MPH VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONTAL COLLISION. UPON IMPACT, NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. *AK
CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING AT 50 TO 55 MPH, WHEN VEHICLE HIT A DEER. NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED, AND THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALLED. *AK
