WE ARRIVE IN THE CAR FROM A CHURT ACTIVITY AT 1130 PM .PARKED TRUCK AND GET TO THE HOUSE IN ORDER TO SLEEP. THE SMELL TO BURN RUBBER ALERT US AT 1200PM .THE CAR IGNITION BEEN OFF AND IN THE GARRAGE. *AK
VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE BECAUSE OF FAULTY IGNITION SWITCH. TT
THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR FAILED CAUSING ENGINE TO RACE. THE VEHICLE LURCHED FORWARD AND IMPACTED THE BRICK WALL BY THE SIDE OF THE GARAGE DOOR. THE IMPACT KNOCKED THE DRIVER UNCONSCIOUS. WHEN HE CAME TO THE ENGINE WAS STILL RACING AND THE TIRES WERE SPINNING. HE KILLED THE ENGINE BY TURNING THE KEY OFF. IT BENT THE BUMPER AND IT CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE HOUSE. UPON IMPACT WITH THE OTHER DRIVER(HE WAS DRUNK) THE SEAT BELT PULLED APART WITH THE IMPACT. AND THAT POINT I WAS SEVERLY INJURIED. THE INJURIES WOULD NOT BEEN OF THE NATURE THAT THEY WERE IF THE BELT DID NOT BREAK. THE DPS OFFICE SIAD THAT THE SPEED OF BOTH OF THE TRUCKS WOULD OF BEEN APPROX. 100 MILE AN HOUR IMPACT..I HAVE CONTACTED FORD AND FILED A REPORT AND I HAVE MAJOR PROOF FORD IS LIAIABLE .

CONSUMER WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55MPH AND HAD BEGUN BRAKING FOR FOR 30 FEET BEFORE A HEAD-ON COLLISION HAPPENED. AT IMPACT, THE DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELTS BROKE AT THE SHOULDER , AND CONSUMER WAS INJURED. CONSUMER WILL PROVIDE VIN. LATER. *AK

CONSUMER WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND THE STEERING ASSEMBLY SHIFTER BROKE OFF THE STEERING COLUMN. *AK
WHILE DRIVNG, THE TIE ROD BROKE, CAUSING THE TRUCK TO LOSE CONTROL AND RUN INTO A SCHOOL BUS. PLEASE DESCRIBE. *AK
PARKED ON INCLINE, EMERGENCY BRAKE APPLIED, VEHICLE MOVE AND PINNED TO GATE, WAS ABLE TO PUSH OFF, THEN ROLLED DOWN HILL AND HIT SOME TREES. TT
CONSUMER STATES WHIILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD, STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED TO RIGHT AND THEN IT LOCKED. CONSUMER HAD APPLIED BRAKES BUT COULD NOT SLOW DOWN VEHICLE. IT KEPT GOING IN CIRCLES. PASSENGER'S DOOR OPENED, VEHICLE HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE. KEY CAME OUT OFF IGNITION AT THE BEGINNING, CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO PUT KEY BACK IN IGNITION AND SHUT OFF VEHICLE. *AK ALSO THE IGNITION KEY CYLINDER WAS REPLACED.*YH
TIME OF INCIDENT 07:30 AM; NO HEAVY LOAD; ENTIRE TREAD CAME OFF SEVERLY DAMAGING LEFT SIDE PANEL, PIPE TO GAS TANK, AND BED. TRUCK WAS YANKED AROUND, BUT GAINED CONTROL. TIRE CONTINUED TO HOLD AIR, AND WAS STILL HOLDING AIR UNTIL NEW TIRE WAS PURCHASED. I PURCHASED A COMPLETE NEW SET OF WILDERNESS TIRES ON THE SAME DAY DUE TO MILEAGE AND NOT WANTING MISMATCHED TIRES. NOW I AM STUCK WITH ANOTHER SET THAT COULD POTENTIALLY BE JUST AS DANGEROUS. THIS INCIDENT OCCURED PRIOR TO THE PUBLICITY ON FIRESTONE TIRES. OTHERWISE, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT ANOTHER BRAND. I HAD NEVER HAD PROBLEMS WITH FIRESTONE TIRES BEFORE, AND THOUGHT THE PROBLEM I HAD WAS DUE TO MILEAGE OR JUST A SINGLE DEFECTIVE TIRE.( DOT NUMBER: VD60AXB506 TIRE SIZE: 31105R15 )
