While driving on a straight roadway the right rear wheel hub broke off of the rear axle. This caused the truck to turn to the left out of control. The truck crossed over the center line while the entire wheel/tire separated from the wheel well of the truck. The wheel/tire traveled another 50 yards off the roadway into a field. The truck struck a hill on the other side of the road deploying the side airbags due to impact with a road sign. The wheel hub/axle was inspected by a mechanic and the insurance company. The wheel hub was determined to be a defective part by the mechanic and insurance company. The wheel hub had noticeable rust where the axle was connected to the wheel hub. The truck was totaled and removed by the insurance company.

on 3/6/2020 I was in a serious car accident in the vehicle. which required surgeries for not only myself but also other drivers on the road. The driver air bags did not deploy, the turck was totaled and had body damage around the entire vehicle. There was a blood stain from my head hitting the driver door window but no air bag deployment. The gas pedal was not attached when reviewing the photos taken. The collision detection did not detect. we have asked Ford Motor Company to come and look at the car as it has been in a protective hold but the response from FMC was that due to covid they would not send anyone and we were left on out own. There were no warning messages, lamps, lights or indicators prior to the collision.

On 12/06/2021 at approximately 0205, my F150 was rear ended while stop at a light my vehicle was totaled and I noticed the seat back broke and was touching the rear seat and angled to the left. I tried to straighten the seat back up to remove my work bag that was pinned behind it and the seat was locked in place. I researched and found a consumer report article from Ford dated October 2019 that stated the 3rd prong is missing from the seat on the F150’s from 2018-2020 and can cause injuries in a vehicle crash.

I have a 2019 Ford F150 with a 10R80 transmission. It has been shuddering and has erratic shifting. Now it is at a dealership and they want $9000 to repair a known problem. It appears that Ford and the NHTSA are aware of this problem with these transmissions. The problem has been going on since Ford went to these transmissions. When will the Federal Government step in and make Ford have a safety recall. Going from 8th Gear to 2nd gear is like hitting a concrete wall. Ford has several Bulletins out for repairing these transmissions but refuse to inform the consumer. So if this problem happens outside of the warranty Ford wants to get paid. Please help the American consumer and hold Ford accountable for the defective product.

When I place my vehicle in park on my driveway, it rolled backwards and collided with the vehicle behind it. when this event occurred, the truck was in park for over an hour before rolling backwards. This is not the first time that it has done this and when I saw it happen the first time, it was only for a distance of two feet and all the wheels were turning when it rolled backwards. The truck was only in 2 wheel drive mode and 4 wheel drive automatic mode. We are now trying to leave it in 4 High wheel drive when parked. Our driveway is on an incline and we do live in Mn. Our driveway was clear of snow and ice when this occurred and the temperature was 40 degrees. We are not allowed to park our vehicles on the street overnight but have asked for a special permit given the damage to the vehicle parked behind the truck that was hit when the truck rolled backwards. This was over 4 feet when the truck rolled and the vehicle that was hit stopped the truck from rolling further. We confirmed the truck was in park when this incident occurred.

MY TRUCK WENT 3 FORD LOCATIONS AND NO ONE REALLY KNOWS WHY THE SAFETY BREAKS DO NOT WORK. THEY CLAIM THE CAR MISS THE CCM, THEY HAVE NO OTHER CODES OR GUIDELINES TO MAKE IT WORK. THE PRE-ASS COLLISION RARELY ACTIVATES AND THE BRAKES DOES NOT APPLY. THE AUTO START STOP ALSO IS NOT LONGER WORKING

IN MOTION, INTERSTATE HIGHWAY MERGE LANE. I HAVE A 2019 FORD F150 EQUIPPED WITH A PRE-COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE MILEAGE IS APPROXIMATELY 12,500. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW. DURING MY VEHICLE OWNERSHIP THE COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM HAS ALWAYS BEEN SET TO 'APPLY BRAKING' AND ALERT SET TO 'HIGH' THE SYSTEM HAS ALERTED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, HOWEVER THE AEB NEVER ENGAGED THE BRAKES. I WAS RECENTLY IN A COLLISION, WHILE THE SYSTEM ALERTED, AND SHOULD HAVE ENGAGED THE AEB. THE PRE-COLLISION AEB DID NOT APPLY THE BRAKES. THE COLLISION WAS MINOR; THE PRE-COLLISION AEB SYSTEM FAILED. OTHER CONCERNS FOR CONSIDERATION. IF THE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CAN FAIL, COULD THE SYSTEM ALSO APPLY BRAKES WHEN THERE IS NO DANGER OF A COLLISION. A FAILED SYSTEM IS A FAILED SYSTEM. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE A RESPONSE AND ASSURANCE FROM FORD MOTOR CORPORATION; BEFORE I HAVE THE DAMAGE REPAIRED, I WOULD LIKE FORD TO INSPECT THE SYSTEM, PROVIDE A DATA HISTORY REPORT FROM MY VEHICLE; AND ASSURANCE THE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM IS FUNCTIONING AS DESIGNED BEFORE I HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED.

While driving on the highway on 02/20/2026 at approximately 152,000 miles, my 2019 Ford F-150 3.0L Power Stroke diesel caught fire and was completely destroyed. The day before the fire (02/19/2026), the FordPass app logged an electrical system error that self-cleared the same day. Believing the issue resolved itself, I continued normal operation. The following day the vehicle caught fire on the highway and was a total loss. Ford's own telematics system captured the fault code prior to the fire. I am filing this complaint to formally document this incident and believe this represents a product defect.

Truck started smoking from under the hood in the area of the battery compartment while driving. Then truck burst into flames. 53,000 miles. No injuries. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue came to the scene with report number XXX-XXX and can be reached at [XXX] . Sticker shows built in May 2019. There was a recall 19S40 which applied to vehicles made in June 2019. So I was only one month prior to the official recall date. However, 19S40 specifically mentions fire risk. I believe my truck had this defect and was not recalled when it should have been. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
