THE DRIVER WAS WEARING A SEAT BELT; HOWEVER, HE WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE THROUGH THE REAR DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED FATAL INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
2007 FORD F150 ON THE ROAD LESS THAN ONE WEEK WITH 1100 MILES ON IT. TRUCK WAS INVOLVED IN A MINOR COLLISION WHERE TRUCK STRUCK THE REAR BUMPER OF CAR IN FRONT OF IT. SPEED AT TIME OF IMPACT WAS APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH. THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND THE TRUCK BURST INTO FLAMES. MORE THAN LIKELY THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. The contact owned a 2007 Ford F-150. The contact stated that when depressing the accelerator pedal while in reverse, the vehicle suddenly accelerated, crossing a field, and crashing into a nearby building, where the vehicle came to a stop. The contact sustained neck injuries, and the front passenger sustained neck injuries as well. The contact did not seek medical attention; however, they intended to do so in the future. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The rear end of the vehicle was damaged. The vehicle was driven home. The vehicle was taken to Collision Center who diagnosed that the rear of the vehicle needed extensive bodywork and determined the vehicle was totaled. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 300,000. The VIN was not available.
AFTER HITTING THE HIGHWAY MEDIAN WALL AT A HIGH SPEED, THE DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND I WAS INJURY IN THE ACCIDENT.

AS A RESULT OF THE BRAKE FAILURE, THE CONTACT REAR ENDED AN 18-WHEELER TRUCK. THE AIR BAG DEPLOYED UPON IMPACT HOWEVER, THE SEAT BELT FAILED TO RETRACT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED MEDICAL ATTENTION AT THE SCENE AND WAS LATER TRANSPORTED TO A HOSPITAL. THE OTHER DRIVER WAS ALSO TREATED AT THE SCENE BUT HIS INJURIES WERE UNKNOWN. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A BROKEN RIGHT ARM AND A BROKEN RIGHT FEMUR. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AT THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A LOCAL JUNK YARD. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 141,000.

HAD A WRECK AND THE ENTIRE FRONT OF TRUCK WAS BASICLY CRUSHED AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.
PUT TRUCK IN REVERSE, IT SPED UP AND BRAKES DID NOT WORK. STOPPED BY BACKING INTO A TREE, THEN DROVE FINE. THREE DAYS LATER CAME TO AN INTERSECTION AND WAS UNABLE TO STOP. HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE IN THE INTERSECTION.
I WAS STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AND THE OTHER DRIVER RAN A STOP SIGN AT 55 MPH AND HIT ME ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT FENDER AND MY AIR BAGS NEVER WENT OFF. I HAVE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL WITH HURT SHOULDER AND BACK AND BRUISED KIDNEYS FRACTURED RIBS AND BRUISED LIVER AND MY ORGANS SWOLLEN AND A DISPLACED HIP. I AM STILL TRYING TO RECOVER FROM THE MAJOR SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE AND THE TRUCK WAS A TOTAL LOSS. *TR

ON MY 2007 FORD F 150 SPORT I WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH. I STRUCK A LIGHT POLE ON THE SIDE OF THE INTERSTATE ON THE RIGHT FRONT BUMPER AND THE RIGHT FRONT PANEL. AFTER HITTING THE POLE, I WENT DOWN A HILL AND HIT TREES FROM THERE. IT DID MORE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF MY TRUCK YET STILL NOTHING FROM THE AIRBAGS. IT WAS ENOUGH FORCE TO CRUSH THE HOOD, AND THE ENTIRE RIGHT PANEL. THE AIRBAGS DIDN'T DEPLOY AND 1 PERSON WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED. FROM WHAT I AM READING, IT TAKE 18-20 LBS OF PRESSURE TO HAVE THEM DEPLOY. IT WAS FOR SURE ENOUGH FORCE TO HAVE THEM DEPLOY AND ACCORDING TO OFFICERS AT THE SCENE, NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND AS TO WHY THEY NEVER DEPLOYED? I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET AN ANSWER ON THIS, AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF FORD EVER RECALLED THIS ISSUE? I ALSO HAVE PICTURES OF THE ACCIDENT. THANK YOU! *TR

WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL VIOLENTLY JERKED AND PULLED THE VEHICLE TO THE RIGHT, WHICH CAUSED HIM TO CRASH INTO A FENCE. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A LARGE CUT ON HIS FOREARM, WHIPLASH, KNOT ON THE HEAD, AND A BROKEN FINGER. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THEY INSPECTED THE VEHICLE AND CONFIRMED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN FRACTURED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.

THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE FROM THE SCENE OF THE CRASH AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A COLLISION CENTER WHERE THE BODY DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT MODULES WERE FAULTY. THE DEALER DID NOT INFORM THE CONTACT IF THERE WAS A FAILURE WITHIN THE AIR BAGS. THE VEHICLE WAS LEFT WITH THE DEALER AND WAS UNDERGOING FURTHER INSPECTION. THE TECHNICIAN ALSO STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT ASSIST WITH THE COST OF REPAIRS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,500.

CUTS AND BRUISES REPAIR $6,000.00 2. FRONT DAMAGE SIDE DAMAGE BROKEN AXEL FENDER DOOR TIRE RIM DAMAGE .. TRUCK MIGHT BE TOTALED. I OWNED A 2003 AND 2007 FORD F-150 SUPERCREW THE 2003 CAR WAS REARENDED AT 40 MILES PER HOUR AND NO AIR BAG DEPLOYED. THE 2007 WAS INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT FRONTEND AT 60 MILES PER HOUR AND THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY AS WELL. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A COLLISION SHOP AND REPAIRED FOR THE DAMAGES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR THE REPAIR OF THE BRAKE SYSTEM AND REPLACEMENT OF THE AIR BAG SENSOR. IN ADDITION, WHEN PROCEEDING TO MAKE A SHARP TURN THERE WAS A LOUD POPPING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
WHILE DRIVING ON STATE HIGHWAY, APPLIED BRAKE, BRAKE PEDAL WENT SLOWLY TO THE FLOOR, AND VEHICLE DID NOT SLOW, CONTINUED ON HELPLESS, UNTIL STRIKING A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. CALLED DEALER WHERE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF ANY BRAKE PROBLEMS WITH THIS MODEL. CALLED FORD DIRECT, AND THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF ANY BRAKE PROBLEMS WITH THIS MODEL. INSURANCE ADJUSTER WILL BE HERE TODAY, I WILL NOT LET ANYONE TOUCH THIS VEHICLE UNTIL THIS PROBLEM IS RESOLVED, I HAVE NOT SLEPT FOR DAYS, NOT BECAUSE OF MY INJURIES, BUT THE HAUNTING THOUGHTS OF KNOWING I COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE. *TR
2007 FORD F150 WAS LEASED FROM ENTERPRISE LEASING ON MARCH 31, 2008 AT GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA. THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) SHOWED LOW TIRE PRESSURE AT TIME OF LEASE DELIVERY. AGENT FOR ENTERPRISE HAD TIRES INFLATED AT TIME OF LEASE DELIVERY. WAS INFORMED BY ENTERPRISE THAT TIRES AND AIR PRESSURE WERE FINE. ON APRIL 6, 2008 (6 DAYS LATER), THE VEHICLE HYDROPLANED GOING 55 MPH IN 55 MPH ZONE ON STRAIGHT, LEVEL ROADWAY AND CRASHED ALMOST KILLING COMPLAINANT AND WIFE. DISCOVERED UNEVEN TREAD ON TIRES AND DEFECTIVE TIRE VALVE STEM ON FRONT PASSENGER SIDE TIRE. *TR
