STRUCTURE OF 2001 F150. MY LATE HUSBAND SUFFERED MASSIVE HEAD TRAMA WHEN THE F150 HE WAS DRIVING WAS STRUCK HEAD ON WITH AN ISUZU DELIVERY TRUCK. THE TRUCK BURST INTO FLAMES AND CONTINUED TO BURN OUT OF CONTROL. IIHS AND DATELINE REPORT THE STRUCTURE OF THE TRUCK IS UNSAFE AND COULD RESULT IN MASSIVE HEAD TRAMA INJURIES.

FATAL ACCIDENT INVOLVING A 2001 FORD SVT F-150 PICKUP. *PH WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ENTERED A CURVE TO THE RIGHT WHICH RESULTED IN THE DRIVER LOSING CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO SKID UNCONTROLLABLY UNTIL IT RAN OFF TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER, STRUCK A STREET SIGN BEFORE STRIKING A DRIVEWAY CULVERT AND VAULTING INTO THE AIR. AFTER THE FIRST CONTACT WITH THE GROUND THE VEHICLE ROLLED OVER EJECTING BOTH OCCUPANTS. NEITHER OF THE TWO OCCUPANTS WERE WEARING A SEAT BELT. SPEED MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR IN THE ACCIDENT. (NAR)

THE CONSUMERS SON WAS TRAVELING WITH HIS FRIEND IN HIS NEW FORD SVT 150 LIGHTING TRUCK. WHEN THE CONSUMERS SON WAS ASLEEP AND HIS FRIEND WAS DRIVING HE WAS TRAVELING IN AN EXCESS SPEED OF 120 MPH, HE LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND CRASHED. THE FRONT HAD GONE HEAD ON INTO THE EMBANKMENT WHEN THE AIRBAGS DID NOT ACTIVATE INCLUDING THE SIDE AIRBAGS. THE CONSUMERS SON WAS THROWN OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND KILLED. *PH *SCC *JB

THE POLICE SAID MY DAD'S TRUCK WAS GOING AROUND 65 MPH. THE TRUCK STRUCK A GUARD RAIL ON BOTH SIDES IN THE FRONT AND THE AIR BAG DID NOT DEPLOY WITH EITHER IMPACT. NAR 1/29/2003. THE CONSUMER STEERED ABRUPTLY TOWARD THE LEFT LANE, STRUCK THE GUARD RAIL WITH THE LEFT FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE AND CONSEQUENTLY THE VEHICLE ROLLED OVER. AACORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT THE CAP TO THE MASTER CYLINDER WAS MISSING AND THERE WAS EVIDENCE OF BRAKE FLUID IN THE BRAKE LINES AND FLUID WAS FOUND LEAKING FROM THE RIGHT REAR TIRE ASSEMBLY WHICH WAS DISENGAGED FROM THE VEHICLE.

THE CONTACT SUSTAINED A LACERATION ON THE LEFT ARM, NECK AND BACK PAIN, AND A BRUISE ON THE CHEST. THE CONTACT DENIED MEDICAL ATTENTION, BUT LATER WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER OR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 250,000.

MY DAUGHTER JUST BOUGHT THE TRUCK AND I WANTED HER TO BE SAFE WITH NEW TIRES.ON NOVEMBER 14, 2018 ON HER WAY TO WORK AT 5:00 A.M SHE HAD A TERRIBLE ROLL OVER. SHE IS CURRENTLY IN ICU. SHE JUST HAD A CRANIOPLASTY 15 DAYS AGO. SHE HAS A SEVERE TBI. SHE HASN'T WALKED SINCE THE DAY OF ROLLOVER. SHE WAS ON LIFE SUPPORT. STILL ON TRACHEOSTOMY. SHE WILL BE DISABLED ALL IF HER LIFE. SHE IS 22 YEARS OLD. SHE WAS DRIVING APPROX. 55 MPH. SHE WAS OUT OF CONTROL WHEN ALL THREE WITNESSES SAW HER COMING AT THEM. THIS HAPPENED ON SUMMIT VALLEY RD IN HESPERIA CA. IT IS ONE LANE EACH DIRECTION. SHE WAS APPROACHING TH TOP OF A HILL. WHEN SHE GOT OVER THE HILL SHE WAS OUT OF CONTROL AND THE VEHICLE ROLLED AND SHE WAS EJECTED. SHE WAS FOUND UNDER THE TRUCK. THE TIRES HAD LESS THAN 5,000 MILES ON THEM. PLEASE DON'T BUY THESE TIRES. I AM STILL NOT SURE IF SHE WILL SURVIVE THIS. I AM SO HEARTBROKEN I CAN BARELY MOVE.

IN 2006 I WAS IN A REAR END COLLISION WHERE I WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND AND FORCED INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME AND WE WERE FORCED INTO A THIRD VEHICLE IN FRONT OF US. IT RESULTED IN SEVERAL PEOPLE BEING SENT TO THE HOSPITAL WITH SERIOUS INJURIES. I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF TWO VEHICLES AND MY AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY! I HAD A BROKEN RIB FROM THE STEERING WHEEL AND SEVERE WHIPLASH RESULTING IN A SURGERY THAT LEFT ME IN SERIOUS LIFE LONG PAIN. THE SURGERY CONSISTED OF 12 PINS, 10 SCREWS, 4CADAVOR DISKS AND FUSION OF 5 LEVELS OF MY NECK. MY DRIVERS AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND I BELIEVE IF IT HAD WORKED PROPERLY I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SO SERIOUSLY INJURED. THE VEHICLE HIT ME FROM BEHIND AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED AS I WAS AT A STOP IN A ON THE HIGHWAY. THE IMPACT FORCED ME INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME BUT THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE ESTIMATED SPEED OF THE VEHICLE THAT HIT ME FROM BEHIND WAS BETWEEN 65 AND 75 MPH.

THE TRUCK WAS PURCHASED USED, I HAVE HAD IT FOR 10+ YEARS, FULLY MAINTAINED, AND IT HAS 137,000 MILES ON IT WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED.

THE STATE TROOPERRS, COUNTY CONSTABLE,EMS PERSONEL AND WRECKER DRIVERS ALL TOLD ME I WAS VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE NOT BEEN MORE SEVERELY INJURED DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THAY SAID WITH THE LOCATION OF IMPACT, SPEED (55) AND TYPE OF IMPACT THEY DEFINATELY SHOULD HAVE WENT OFF. I HIT MY RIGHT SHOULDER AND BREAST ON THE STEERING WHEEL. IT HAS BEEN THREE WEEKS AND I STILL CANNOT RISE MY RIGHT ARM. I HAVE MUTIPLE CONTUSIONS ON MY RIGHT BREAST WHICH RESUTED IN A LARGE BLOOD CLOT FORMING THAT WILL HAVE TO BE SUGICALLY REMOVED. THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY NECK HURTS VERY BAD AND SHOOTS PAIN UP BEHIND MY EAR. I STAY WITH A HEADACHE. I AM UNDER A PHYSICIANS CARE AT THIS TIME AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RETURN TO WORK. *AK
