The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH, she rear-ended another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. The contact sought medical attention at the hospital; no injuries were treated. A police report was filed. The contact was instructed by the police officer that she was able to drive the vehicle home; however, several warning lights appeared on the instrument panel. DRIVING ON THE STREET -JEFFERSON BLVD. ON MY WAY HOME AND MY EXCELARATOR PEDAL WAS STUCK AND COULD NOT STOP THE CAR AND HIT LARGE ESCALADE IN FRONT OF ME, THANK GOD FOR THAT. HIS CAR WAS BARELY SCRATHED AND MINE ENDED UP $6,500 IN REPAIRS LESS $1,000 DEDUCTIBLE. IT WAS QUITE FRIGHTENING. I WAS NOT HURT.*DT*JB
A PERSON HIT MY FRONT LEFT PANEL NEAR MY DRIVER DOOR AND I WAS THROWN AROUND LIKE A RAG DOLL EVEN THOUGH I HAD MY SEAT BELT ON. THIS IS EXTREMELY JUST AWFUL SINCE WE BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE THE NUMBER OF AIRBAGS. THIS DRIVER OF THE OTHER VEHICLE RAN A LIGHT AND PLOWED INTO ME. I WAS DRIVING 40MPH AND DON'T KNOW HOW FAST HE WAS GOING.*DT*JB
I BACKED OUT OF MY GARAGE TO RUN AN ERRAND, DECIDED TO RUN BACK INTO THE HOUSE FOR A SWEATER. PUT THE CAR IN PARK (IT WAS STILL OUTSIDE THE GARAGE FACING THE OPEN GARAGE DOOR). HOPPED OUT AND WENT TO GO BACK INTO THE HOUSE WITH THE CAR DOOR OPEN. THE JEEP STARTED ROLLING FORWARD. I JUMPED BACK IN, PUT ON THE BRAKE, TRIED TO SHUT THE DOOR AND IT SPED FORWARD ACCELERATING. IT WENT THROUGH THE OPEN GARAGE, IT JUMPED UP TWO STAIR STEPS, THE TIRES AND WHEELS CRASHED THROUGH THE TOP STEP FLOOR, JUMPED UP OUT OF THE HOLE IT MADE, LURCHED FORWARD AND CRASHED INTO THE HOUSE WALL AND WAS STUCK IN BETWEEN THE FURNACE WALL ON THE RIGHT AND SHELVING ON THE LEFT. THE ENGINE WAS STILL REVVING AT THIS POINT AND I CUT THE ENGINE BY PUSHING THE IGNITION BUTTON. I THEN THOUGHT THE AIRBAG WAS GOING TO HIT ME, BUT IT DID NOT DEPLOY. I DECIDED I NEEDED TO GET IT OUT OF THE WALL, SO I STARTED IT AND SHIFTED BACK INTO REVERSE, BUT IT WOULDN'T MOVE. SO I SHUT IT OFF AND THEN STARTED TO PANIC THAT THERE MIGHT BE AN EXPLOSION AS WE HAVE GAS LINES, ELECTRICAL, ETC. THERE. THE FRONT DOORS WERE PINNED SHUT. SO I JUMPED IN THE BACK AND WAS ABLE TO GET OUT THROUGH THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE DOOR. I RAN OUT INTO OUR YARD AS I WAS AFRAID SOMETHING MIGHT EXPLODE. I HAVE FOUND SEVERAL OTHER EXAMPLES OF THIS ON YOUR WEBSITE AS COMPLAINTS, ETC. IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. THERE ARE MANY MORE I'M SURE AND THE NEW 2020 MODELS YOU HAVE 3 SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ALREADY. DO SOMETHING TO HOLD JEEP ACCOUNTABLE. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE 2009. I HAD NO IDEA WHEN I BOUGHT THIS JEEP.*DT*JB*DT*JB

ON 01/09/19 MY WIFE WAS INVOLVED IN A SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN WHICH HER VEHICLE RAN OFF THE ROADWAY DOWN AN EMBANKMENT RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE SUSTAINING A TOTAL LOSS OF THE VEHICLE DUE TO DAMAGES. THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED AS IT HIT SOME TYPE OF BARRIER WHICH DESTROYED THE UNDER CARRIAGE STRIKING TWO TREES BEFORE IT CAME TO REST ABOUT 300 YARDS OFF THE ROADWAY. MY CONCERN IS THAT NONE OF THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED IN THIS HORRIFIC ACCIDENT WHICH FORTUNATELY MY WIFE ONLY SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES.

THE WORSE THING THAT HAS HAPPENED IS I STARTED MY CAR WITH MY GRANDBABY IN HER CARSEAT, I HOPPED OUT TO LOCK MY HOUSE DOOR AND THE CAR WENT INTO REVERSE AND RAN INTO BARBWIRE FENCE, THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES MY CAR HAS SLAMMED ON THE BRACKS WHILE BACKING OUT OF THE DRIVE WAY BARLEY MOVING IT ALMOST GAVE ME WHIPLASH. MY RADIO JUMPS AROUND CHANNELS, I HAVE REPORTED IN THE PAST BUT HAS GOTTEN WORSE AND STARTED TURNING ON THE HEATER ON HIGH AND I CANT STOP IT.
The UConnect display on my vehicle is phantom pressing buttons, going to different screens, turning things on and off as I drive. Yesterday, I was put in a EXTREMELY unsafe situation with my vehicle where the UConnect screen turned off my blind spot detection. I was unaware until I attempted to merge into another lane and hit another car!!! I called UConnect and Jeep and they told me they won’t do anything because I’m not the first owner of the car and that it can’t be replaced but for 1,000 of dollars. I feel like this should be repaired by Courtesy because this is a safety issue.
